This cowhide is luxurious! Very shiny in a good way. Looks really expensive. It might be too large for my living room. It just depends on how much of the floor you want to cover.

This rug is a perfect deep black. Just beautiful. The rug has a funky smell but Lysol spray seems to damper it significantly. I am very pleased!

I was soooo looking forward to receiving this, i got it in and quickly opened it. the hide itself is in perfect condition, very good quality, the black is soft, solid & beautiful (just like the description photos). the problem is this isnt even close to 6x6-7ft. which obviously is a big fat bummer! i am 4ft 10 and when i lay on it im taller/longer both in width and length (which is why i gave 4 star rating, cause i wouldnt have paid what i did for basically a 4.7x 4.7 ft rug ) . i had gotten a slightly larger tri color brown one a few years back from this same company and put this black one on top of my brown one (see pics) to see the difference..i admit i was surprised to see that width wise they are actually really close, length wise my brown one is about 25 inches (from the center) longer (i tape measured that one). i completely understand that a typical "rug size" is really just a "ball park" measurement because..well its a hide, so i get that it wont be exact...im just bummed lol i really wanted solid black to match my living room. unfortunately i ended up having to take my tri color one from my bedroom & swapping rooms with it. i got this specifically to protect the rug under it from staining from dirty shoes or feet where we sit (which is why the lack of length is important for me ). im not returning it because the black one works just fine in my bedroom, my brown one doesnt really "go" with our rug lol but its not horrible so it will work.

For the living room! Very, very elegant. Real leather, shiny fur, just stunning!

Das Kuhfell kam überraschend schnell mit UPS. Es ist wie abgebildet. Ich glaube, dass das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung ist. Ich kenne mich mit Kuhfellen allerdings nicht wirklich aus. Ich schätze, dass es 3 mm dick ist. Da es nicht so dick ist, gehe ich davon aus, dass es vielseitig verwendbar ist und sich anpasst, wie z.B. auf einem Sessel. Außerdem vermute ich, dass die Form ein Zuschnitt ist, da es sehr gleichmäßig ist. Das Fell ist ... die Kuh war nicht borstig, aber natürlich auch nicht so kuschelig wie ein Angorakaninchen und eine lebende Kuh ist auch iwie anders. Aber es ist angenehm und auch in Ordnung. Der Teppich verliert zum Glück auch keine Haare. Die Kuh hatte wohl einen kleinen Wirbel, also ist im Teppich eine kleine Stelle, wo keine Haare sind bzw.sie im Kreis sind inkl. kl. kahler Stelle, etwa 1 Ct. groß die Stelle, stört mich nicht weiter. Ich bin sehr positiv überrascht von diesem sehr preiswerten Kuhfell und von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Love it bigger than i was expecting just £95 thought it would be more like £200. Real cow so thin just really for the look.
