34110 18/8 Stainless Steel China Cap Strainer, 10-Inch, Coarse Mesh

The conical shape tends to drain things more efficiently than the usual bowl-shaped ones. It's also very easy to clean, and has a good capacity. I got it because Thomas Keller recommended it on the French Laundry cookbook- which I find inspirational and aspirational, though I am not likely to ever cook anything from it "per se" (heh). The only downside is that the conical shape means it's harder to store than the bowl-shaped ones.

Substantial! But not what I need. I thought this was much smaller. This is made for a food service. It’s huge! I returned it but recommend it for a restaurant

Good product

I’ve started making several different kinds of bone broth. And so I needed some thing that would be a high capacity strainer. I ordered this and even though it’s a little larger than I need it works beautifully and I’m able to get the results that I want and it really strains the broth beautifully.

It's a bit crudely-made, particularly where the mesh meets the bottom funnel, that requires some effort to clean. Nonetheless, it fulfills its purpose; it funnels stock efficiently.

Good quality and much bigger than it looked in the pictures. I used it to make bone broth and it worked great.

The handle hurts your hand when holding it empty. If you look closely you will see the handel is made of 1 piece of stainless steel that and the leading edges are on the top and bottom making the weight of the strainer and it's contents riding the smallest surface area possible. Not a good design.
