I have gone through so many different mascaras which have inevitably left black spots on my eyelids. So over it. Thankfully, I found this mascara!! No black spots on eyelids, doesn't run under my eyes, etc. Perfect AND affordable!

I LOVE this mascara. I have been using it for at least 6 years now and it's the best out there. I have thin lashes and this makes them look full and thick. I like the curve of the wand and it doesn't clump. The price is great. This is the only mascara you need. Thank you Essence for a great product.

Love all of these mascaras but the pink and teal are better than this one!

I didn't believe that I could find a good Mascara under $25 but this is. It's my new favorite and I love the price but the price is not why I love it. I don't use "drug store" mascaras, been using Estee Lauder for 20 yrs but they test on animals & I haven't been happy with the way it flakes after so many hours of wear and I noticed that my eyes watered after wearing it, so I'm sure the formula had been changed. I started searching for a new mascara. I tried Lancome because I've been using Lancome lash primer for at least 6 years and I love it. The Lancome mascara was alright, but I felt it clumped my lashes after the first coat. I used several coats on top of the primer, but people ask me if I'm wearing false lashes so that tells you how it looks. I read this was a good mascara so I tried it, thinking if I didn't like it I'm only wasting $5.00 I'm so glad I like it, I can put on several coats without clumping my lashes. I didn't get the Waterproof because I find it too hard to get off at night without rubbing. So I wash my mascara off with the rest of my makeup just by washing my face. (I used PHILOSOPHY "Purity" cleanser btw) It comes off easily at night, all I need is a gently swoosh with a makeup remover to get rid of the small residual left after washing my face. It lasts all day and I love it. There are more than one kind, I tried this one which is Volume. I will try the one for length next. I suggest you try it, I mean what's $5.00 if you don't like it.

I'm a little bit spoiled because my first purchase from this brand was the purple one, which was $4.99. It did a fantastic job lengthening AND volumizing. When I went back to reorder it had gone up to $14.99 for a single tube! So, I decided to try this one since it's from the same brand. It doesn't lengthen as well, but the volume is good. I have to scrape off most of the product to avoid many lashes clumping together, but with a mostly dry brush it goes on well. I like the brush shape, which allows me to place it at the base of the lashes and wiggle and spin it a little as I pull the brush up the length of the lash. Brushes that are a curve make that a lot harder. I'm able to catch every lash in the inside and outside corners with this brush shape. It does flake a bit, and smudges a bit when I work out, but I work out hard and sweat a lot, so some smudging is to be expected from a non-waterproof mascara. It certainly doesn't run down my face or anything. On hot days, it can smudge my upper lids, so I just watch out for that and touch up as needed. I know it's a no-no but I dont use a remover - I just rub my eyes gently in the shower water and it comes off easily. All in all, I'm happy with this product.

Great mascara for the money. It builds easily and what I like the most is that it doesn’t end up all over my eyelids as the day goes on

Super excited to try this mascara after reading reviews..I tried mine and it made my lashes stick together like I was wearing spider legs on my eyes. I did love the length but there was way too much other brush. And not 2 seconds after I applied it I was wiping off small black flakes/globs from under my eyes.
