Darn good hot sauce. Very flavorful. Medium to medium-hot on spice level. A little liquidy but not a problem, still thicker than most mass produced ones. Really great.

I absolutely love this hot sauce. What really sets it apart for me is the no salt—it’s hard to find sauces that are sodium-free and still bursting with flavor, but this one nails it. The original flavor has just the right amount of kick—not too overpowering, but enough to add a bold, savory punch to whatever I’m eating. I use it on everything: tacos, burritos, fajitas, scrambled eggs, grilled veggies—you name it. It instantly elevates the flavor without masking the food. I also appreciate that it’s gluten-free and made with clean ingredients. And the fact that it supports a charitable fund founded by a firefighter? That is what I feel good about supporting. Only downside is the top. It is a regular bottle so it needs to be cleaned regularly as you can see the hot sauce builds up otherwise in the top and it can come out quick when pouring. If you're looking for a flavorful, addictive hot sauce without the salt or excessive heat, this is it. A total flavor game-changer.

I absolutely love this hot sauce. No sodium! Full of flavor and the right amount of heat. I high purchase this sauce probably 10 times this year already, it is my go to for chili, pizza, chicken, you name it.

I needed a hot sauce to try out Guy Fieri’s garlic bread recipe and was having a hard time choosing one. This brand caught my eye because of the name. Palo Alto Firefighters. I’m an East Bay/SF girl myself, but PA is close enough to be considered local and who doesn’t love firefighters? (Alright to the one hater out there, simmer down. Or don’t, this is a hot sauce.) Anyhow, I started to look into the brand and saw not only are they really firefighters, but they also donate the sauce’s proceeds to charity. Went through the reviews and saw nothing but love. Decided to take a chance on it. That was a great decision! The sauce is thicker than say a Tabasco but not quite as thick as ketchup, which is nice because you don’t have to worry about over pouring or not being able to get it out of the bottle. The flavor for sure fits the title, the pepper flavor is prominent (and lovely). It really pulled together the flavors in my garlic bread but I also had a chance to taste it on its own and am very much looking forward to finding new dishes to add it to. (I want to try it with a little butter and using it to coat wings side by side against Frank’s Red Hot and see how it comes out.) It is a little more expensive than some competitors, but if you can spare the couple bucks, I think it’s worth it and it is going to a good cause vs lining shareholder pockets (and it’s a great sauce).

This is truly great hot sauce, and I have been buying it for years when I lived in the Bay Area. Took a risk and ordered it through Amazon, after reading many, many reviews that all said the same thing, great sauce, but arrived in a shattered glass bottle!!! Bottle was placed in a small plastic bag and did not survive the trip. Very poor packaging, and quite obvious that they don’t care, there are way to many reviews saying the same thing for them not to know about this issue and as their policy is no return or refunds!!! Hate to say this, but I highly recommend not ordering it as you will most likely end up in the same situation.

As someone who has purchased most hot sauces that are low or have no sodium I have to say this is by far my favorite. Most of the other no salt hot sauces end up just tasting like spicy vinegar. This is smoky and earthy the original has a good heat for everyday use and the flavor profile pairs well with most foods. Do note that there is higher sugar in this hot sauce.

This hot sauce is one of a kind. Delicious! It is so flavorful that it is hard to believe that it has no salt. It has a nice heat level in my opinion. Not too hot by any means, but you do get some nice mellow heat. To me the predominant spice profile is cumin. I put some in a bowl of 16 bean soup that I made and it made it taste like chili. I bought 2 bottles and am excited to see that you can also order a 1 gallon jug of it! This is definitely a keeper. If you are like me and are trying to cut salt consumption then don't hesitate to try this. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
