I picked up the Instant Pot Vortex Plus 6QT after seeing it rated as America’s Test Kitchen’s top air fryer, and honestly, it has not disappointed. It’s simple to use, which is exactly what I wanted. It heats up fast, and I love that it tells you when to add the food, when to flip it, and when it finishes cooking. All I really have to do is choose the setting and set the time. Cleanup is easy, too. Most of the time the basket washes up quickly, and if I’m cooking something messy, I just use an air fryer liner and it’s a breeze. There are so many air fryers out there that it’s hard to know which one to trust, but I’m glad I went with this one. The quality is great, the price was fair, and it just works the way you want it to.

Absolutely love our air fryer. Easy to use and does a wonderful job. We have heated up frozen goods and also baked a chicken breast in it. Highly recommend this product!

I did a fair amount of comparing features and reviews, this is the air fryer I chose. After using it for a month now, I'm really glad I did, Im very happy with this 6qt air fryer. I did not want a "combo" unit that air fries, toasts, bakes, etc - combo units always have compromises engineered into them so that all the features work. I specifically wanted a dedicated air fryer. The instant pot vortex plus did not disappoint, it works great! Even though we just cook for the 2 of us Im glad I got the 6 qt, no problem fitting 2 NY strip steaks. Or enough fries that we dont have to cook a second batch. Im also glad I chose to "upgrade" to the model with the clear window so I can see whats going on. I mean... you have a window and light on your wall oven, and you use it, right? Nice modern sleek looking machine. Controls are pathetically simple and intuitive to use.

So easy to clean and simple to use! I should have replace my old air fryer years ago. Great for chicken wings, crispy tator tots (a whole bag at a time), and roasting bell peppers & onions before adding them to a batch of crockpot chili. Egg rolls and jalapeño peppers are crispy and quick.

Got this air fryer after my husband finally listened to me and cooked chicken in our old one. He was amazed at how quick and easy it made meal prep. We bought this large one. It works great, is easy to clean, and holds so much food. The only thing I don't like is when adjusting time and temperature, the button for each is on the opposite side of the display to where the numbers actually are. Very tiny complaint, doesn't affect functionality.

Bought this as a replacement for our well used Gourmia that we got in 2019. It still worked but it was being to show its age in a lot of ways. After lots of research I picked the Vortex Slim and we love it. First off, this is much smaller than our old air fryer (see pictures, banana for scale). Its also a complete different shape. The Gourmia was tall and the basket was round. This is low and long with a rectangular basket. Its not a good/bad/better thing, just different. What is good and better is how quiet this is. If the Gourmia was on, you knew it. Not so with the Vortex Slim. Multiple times I have thought it was finished because I couldn't hear anything only to discover it was chugging away. Its also fast. I have essentially cut my cooking times in half from what I am used to setting. One HUGE qualifier for that - the Vortex Slim has a preheat cycle so the actual time it take to cook from start to finish will vary by a lot. If you have a line of hungry family members waiting for the air fryer, the Vortex Slim is going to save you a LOT of time. I dont like the bottom tray design as much as I like the two basket design the Gourmia had. If you cook things that generate grease the tray is not as good. On the other hand cleaning is MUCH easier since you only have one massive thing to put into the dishwasher. Overall and excellent air fryer. (sorry the pictures are not great)

I love this air fryer. It is very easy to use and I like the large basket. As noted in some of the other posts, there is a very strong chemical smell the first few times you use it. I used mine outside for several meals and let the smell burn off. It is fine now with only a very faint smell. I am very pleased with this product!

Way better than our old one. The glass front is nice to view cooking without opening. It has several settings and we now love it to reheat pizza. We make lots of home fries / potato wedges and its fast. The best thing is that it is really quiet. I hardly hear the fan and the chimes for adding and turning food are tiny and almost too low but I appreciate not being jarred out of my socks by loud alarms.

Replaced another fryer that never seemed to crisp anything up, despite promises. This InstantPot machine definitely hits the mark - cooks & crisps to perfection 👌. Directions say to run machine once before using it to cook. Yes, it does smell as though something is burning, and this can linger in the house for a few days. If worried, you could run it outside the first time (recommend staying with machine for the 15 min to ensure there’s no rain or other debris). This is not unique to this product, but sensitive noses may have some difficulty. Have used both single and dual options and food was cooked well and tasted great! Very easy to clean and there are options on Amazon to purchase disposable basket liners, which also fit great!

Works great, cooks even better. Solid product from a solid, reputable brand. Took it out of the box, washed everything down, preheated the unit and cooked a meal. Have also used it to make homemade tortilla chips, chicken cordon bleu, pizzas, homemade mozza sticks... The possibilities with this appliance are innumerable. Highly recommended. Just be aware that pricing on these units wildly fluctuates...

Lamento no tener mas fotos, llego ayer, hicimos papas a la francesa, y quedaron igual que fritas, las metimos más tiempo y salieron mega crujientes. Después metidos rodajas delgadas de papá y de igual forma deliciosas, luego rodajas de manzana y súper bien, es una opción fit para comer cosas crujientes. Nota: si no le pones aceite, crujen pero la apariencia es más reseca, y con un pelín de aceite salen idénticas las sumergidas. También te aconsejo a la mitad del tiempo abrir y mover para que se frian uniformemente. En conclusión, es una maravilla, yo no sentí olor a plástico quemado como muchísima dicen y tampoco me pareció muy ruidosa. Comprala¡¡ este tamaño (6 quartos) es súper amplio.
