Very good tea, very strong only need a little bit for a good cup, has a very nice smell and flavor

This is a high quality, medium body, moderately floral, modestly caffeinated tea that is made for all day drinking. It has got a good flavor with some subtlety, brews a nice darkish liquor and doesn't have a high caffeine punch. On the latter front, compared to this company's more robust English blend, it seems to be about 2/3's the level of caffeine. For the caffeine sensitive, 4 o'clock or so is a good likely cut off time. This is a daily drinker.

This is my favorite loose tea! I am admittedly a tea snob, so prefer loose tea. This is very full bodied and has rich flavor. I use loose tea sachets and you only need one heaping teaspoon of this to get a nice strong cup of tea. Great price also. I highly recommend this product.

Update-- if you steep this for two minutes rather than the recommended four to five (as stated on the box), it's MUCH better. Smoother and rich rather than harsh. The malt flavor blends better too, not so artificial tasting. Your mileage may vary, and I'm talking about a tea ball and mug, not a pot. It may take some experimenting to see what works for you, because this tea can be great or can be awful. Steep for a shorter time, even if you need to use more tea to get the strength that you want. Original review: I'm not a tea snob, but I know a good Assam when I taste it because that is my absolute favorite tea. This is just an okay Assam. It's a bit harsh, not as full-bodied as it should be, but strong in a harsh way. The taste of the malt is just a little artificial, it's a bit Malt-O-Meal rather than a rich Assam tea. Plenty of caffeine, and that makes it a good, functional black tea, but really not smooth or rich as the Assam malt should be. Not sure why. I will keep looking for a better one, because even at the low price, this is not worth facing every morning.

The tea arrived in an Amazon paper bag. The box containing the tea was completely crushed. Luckily the bag inside that holds the tea was intact. I enjoy this brand and flavor of tea. My only compaint is the package that was used to deliver it.

This is absolutely the best tea, especially for breakfast. Full, rich and robust either black or with milk and very satisfying and invigorating, while being easy on your morning digestive system. Update: Opened this package and brewed a pot. First of all, the tea looked much more powdery than usual, more like the tea you find in a tea bag rather than the usual loose tea look and it also didn't have the full, bright tea scent. The brewed tea also lacked the flavor richness of what I expected and have been used to in this tea. I have purchased this same tea for years from Amazon and enjoyed its full flavor and aroma, so was quite disappointed with this batch. I will purchase this one more time from Amazon and if I find the same deterioration of quality I will find another source. I am very unhappy at this point.

It’s been hard to find a good loose leaf Assam without having the luxury to taste it ahead of time. I bought this one on a whim and I’m so pleased with the depth of flavor! It’s definitely my to go and I repurchase once or twice a month.

Worst tea ever. Expiration date was covered by a paper lable. Tastes like disinfectant chemicals. I will never order from this company again.

Ho ricevuto una confezione di produzione gennaio 2017 e scadenza gennaio 2020. Logicamente il risultato dell'infusione è quasi acqua sporca. Nessun aroma. Gusto per niente persistente.. Prezzo elevato considerata la media che si paga presso un negozio fisico. L'ho preso su amazon semplicemente perché non l'ho trovato disponibile presso il rivenditore della mia zona.
