That certainly proves true for this fuel primer bulb with the brand name "Attwood". I've tried to cheap out a couple times and use no name ones, they always leak. Some, the one-way valve does not hold and they crack out within a month or two. This Atwood bulb is considerably thicker and the connectors are well crimped into the rubber body - NO LEAKS ! As a result of it being made of a thicker rubber material, it is a bit harder to squeeze than the cheap thin ones. The one way check valve seems to be holding well and my system has a 75psi electric fuel pump pulling from the out flow side of the primer bulb. My electric fuel pump does seem to pull enough to somewhat collapse the primer buld during use, but not enough to affect the fuel delivery, or cause problems with the bulb.
