Great piece of kit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy and secure - but can damage car *by W***M on 17 August 2024* The most important thing you need to know about these is that *they can put dents in your car roof* I have an old car so it doesn't really matter to me, hence the 4* review because they work for what I wanted, but be aware of this! So the good stuff: I used these to take a 20kg kayak for a total of 6ish hours of motorway speed driving. They were incredibly simple to set up, and the kayak didn't budge. I did use a ratchet strap as well just to be completely sure for the motorway, but I don't think it really needed it and I didn't use it for local journeys. The less good stuff: However, in order to get everything firm enough to not budge, I had to tighten it until the roof popped down. I was hoping it would pop right back again but it did not - I've ordered some dent pullers now to fix it. So I would say for quick transport of fairly light items - perfect. For long distance/ high speed transport or heavy items - if you have an old car you don't really mind getting dented, great.
