Great product for a milk substitute
I can't have regular cow's milk so I was looking for milk substitutes. Bottom line, virtually all such products on the market like almond milk and even pre-blended cashew milk and coconut milk all have so much other stuff added to the mix like flavorings and preservatives and other additives. JOI cashew base is nothing but cashews. Period. It blends with water in thirty seconds and has a pleasing neutral taste that you can enhance with your own sugar and/or natural flavorings. I just drink it plain. You can adjust the consistency of the blend with more product or less water. NOTE: the downside is once it's blended what you don't use right away doesn't last in the fridge for more than a day maybe two tops. It goes bad quickly so I just blend the amount I need and use it immediately.

Tastes great!
Love this cashew milk! Very creamy and not watery like the store bought almond milks.

Flavor is great but
The flavor is just what you want from a cashew milk. Im still finding it difficult to get it a smooth milk. It nothing terrible but I wish it could be a bit better. I will continue on my quest to blend the perfect cashew milk but the ratios provided on the label aren't what Im looking for. I use this in my tea so perhaps the temperature effects the texture. I will continue to buy as the flavor is what Im looking for.

Yummy
Love this, such an easy and healthier way to make almond/cashew milk! My daughter, husband and I love it. We enjoy adding it to our smoothies as well! 10/10 would recommend!

It's basically expensive cashew butter that has a weird chemical taste to it.
As a lot of other low-star reviews noted, I was excited about trying this product -- especially since it doesn't have any listed additives like other milk alternatives (almond milk, coconut milk, etc.). I bought it for smoothies, and it blends alright, but it has a very distictive chemical-like taste to it. I also realized that the only reason this product passes for creating "milk" is that the appearance of the nut-water looks similar to milk. The one positive is that it gave me the idea to just use regular peanut butter (or some other nut-butter) in the same manner. So, for smoothies, I'd just recommend blending your favorite type of nut-butter with water, and then adding your other ingredients before blending again. It'll save you a lot of money.

Overly Priced
The flavor is great. However there are a few things I dislike. 1. The packaging is plastic instead of the glass container from the picture, it’s a mismatch between the description and the actual product. 2. Even after high power blending for 1 minute to making about two cups of creamer, the mixture separates and there is a thick layer of nut deposits at the bottom; if I used the mixture right after blending, there is a gritty texture in my coffee. 3. The suggested usage of 2 table spoons with 1 cup of water actually yields a very diluted creamer, I had to use at least 3 tablespoons for 1 cup of water to get it creamy enough for coffee. 4. Due to reason #3, I don’t get a good value out of the product, I can only use the whole tub for about 18-20 cups of coffee, and that’s at least $1 additional for the creamer for every cup of coffee I drink. Not worth it. There was a previous comment about this product being a very expensive nut butter, I have to agree with this, with the content and nutritional value in the container, a similar organic nut butter product would only cost a fraction of the price. I even tried blending another much cheaper organic nut butter from local grocery store to see if I get similar results, and I did actually achieve the same result with a lot less I paid. That being said, I won’t recommend this product.

Works well overall
Yes it makes good food or milk and I figured it was worth trying but I realized when I got it that the Best Buy date on it was completely wiped in half which is weird so I’ve been trying to use it faster than I should have to do so it won’t go bad. Second this is good and tastes nice but it works the same as raw cashew butter for me. I use cashews cashew butter and have tried this now and they all make milk and sauces great but I can get 28oz raw cashew butter for 28$ on here and in glass bottles which I love. So maybe if I knew how long it lasted I would say it’s worth it but otherwise raw cashew butter is perfectly fine too

Delicious Alternative
I love this product. I was looking for cashew powder to make milk but they all have maltodextrin which elevates blood glucose. This one is a paste. You mix with water, allowing for fresh cashew milk anytime I need it without worrying about it spoiling. I do like non dairy milks but most have a lot of fillers. I was looking for something a bit cleaner. Tastes good. I use in a variety of ways including smoothies, dressings and sauces. I mix it in a magic bullet or Vitamix with purified water.
