Ordered these that came within 2 days. Watched a video to confirm what to do. Left and Right are slightly different so worth doing this. Was quick and easy to replace the board. A bit fiddly with the connector but took my time and important to loosen battery compartment so you can get at connector better. Both working and being used again in no time. Can say how long they will last as inherent problem in the overall design. The cable has to be bent to fit and over time pressure on the controls outside bends the cable inside more to the point where the wires inside the cable break. Beware when you take it apart the cable straightens and the SL SR buttons can work because the broken wires inside touch and make a connection. So you may think it's not the SL SR board but if you bend the cable slightly and test you will see they stop working.
