I’m absolutely thrilled with this hat! The material is high quality and feels soft yet sturdy, so I know it’s made to last. This hat is...okay. It depends on what your expectations are. If you want something cheap, that looks fairly good, this hat is for you. If you prefer a truly quality hat...what are you doing on Amazon? When I purchased this hat, it was for a Jim Hopper costume (from Stranger Things). At the time, I really wasn’t looking something extremely high quality, because it would just be worn for one night. Even with those expectations, however, the hat left something to be desired. For one, I have a big head. I wear a 7 3/4 hat normally. I doubted this hat would fit my large noggin well (it didn’t), but like I said, it was only for one night. Secondly, in the outside of the brim, there is a thin wire that you can bend to shape the brim how you want it. The problem is, there was a slight gap where the two ends of the wire are supposed to meet. After I wore the hat a while and it formed to my head a little, the small change in the shape of the crown (from my big head) put pressure on the brim, and right where the ends of the wire met, the brim puckered. If there had been an overlap in the wire ends, this wouldn’t have happened. I’ve attached a picture of the pucker, as well as how I fixed it. I clipped about 4” off of the end of a wire clothes hanger. I then bent it to match the radius of the brim, and inserted it in the seam where the fabric is rolled down on the edge - near where the wire ends met. I pushed it all the way in, and made sure it was on the bottom of the brim, so as to be less noticeable. This fixed the pucker, more or less. Overall, if you want something cheap, that looks pretty good, AND you have a normal sized gourd, this hat may be for you. For $20, it looks great. Personally, I would’ve paid $30 for a hat that fit me better and didn’t have the wire issue, even for the one night I wore it, but that’s just me.

This is my third hat like this. It’s very well made! Arrived quickly! Nice materials. My only issue is I wish it where ajustable on the inside like one of my others (from a different company) but overall very nice.

I am giving 5 stars because there is nothing wrong with this hat from a hat’s point of view, my issue is it’s not comfortable, like my last hat, it is stiff that will probably change over time. This is maybe normal but you should be aware before you buy. The brim is wide, good sun protection, the hat band has string tie adjuster, the band looks ok, it comes with a plastic mold for the top of the hat that you can use if it ever gets softened enough to ever to require shaping.

Very cute. Sizing was perfect, fits well. Love the color. BUT Came with the strap broken, so I will have to glue it. Almost wanna replace it, but I want to wear it this weekend. Looks as if someone had sent it back and I ended up with it, seems to be happening more now with Amazon as it’s happened to a pair of shoes I ordered and they came with no paper in the box or inside shoes as usual and they were messed up. I know that’s irrelevant to this hat but I’m disappointed in Amazon sending already sent back items.
