Great replacement foot control without a ton of money
It is a generic but it does the job perfectly. Excellent quality and the plug fits the socket perfectly!! 100% Pickled Tink!!

Picture not clear. Had to return. Needs better photo of the plug in.
I ordered a Janome foot pedal for model4623. The write up seemed to indicate that this generic foot pedal would work. Since my machine is older, I didn’t want to spend the $95 for a new foot pedal. It looked like the same plug, only black. WRONG! It was much smaller. The photo is it very inaccurate.The above photo shows the real 4623 foot pedal plug in. I ended up finding a Janome pedal on EBay for about $65., cheaper than the manufacturer.There apparently aren’t any “generic” pedals for this machine.

No slow speed
This does fit my Janome as advertised which is great. It powers the machine and the pedal does works, but there is almost no speed control. As soon as the pedal engages, it runs at almost full speed. No slower speed for careful sewing and no way to made adjustments to this pedal.

False Advertisement
Bought this product because the description pictures specifically identified rounded corners which is what my machine requires. However, I received a plug with squared off corners.
