I loved wearing this dress to my granddaughter’s wedding. It was very elegant and so comfortable to wear. It is beautifully made. I did have to have it hemmed, though. I’d say it runs long.

I just received my dress, stopped what I was doing and tried it on. I was nervous about it, too, wondering if it would fit and how it would fit. I figured any body bulges would be eliminated with shapewear, so if I could get it on without, I was home free. It fit like a glove! After reading some of the reviews (after I bought it), the sequin/beading issue kind of bothered me, but with the handy dandy bag of beads and sequins that came with the dress, a small sewing kit in my clutch, I should be good to go. My husband will help if I lose anything from the back and I can handle the front. Ladies, this is a reminder of what can happen with beads and sequins on clothing. Being prepared ahead of time is the key!

Purchased as a formal mother of the groom dress. Was originally wary of the complaints about the fragile beading and the first dress I received, beading pulled out immediately as I was very gently unzipping the dress. Was able to exchange without any issue. Second dress had no issues with losing beads—held up to a seamstress hemming it and a full day of wedding events with travel to/from various venues. It’s not a dress you can be careless with, but my second experience was good. I think because it is hand beaded, the stability of the beading will vary. Received many compliments all day/evening and the dress is extremely flattering, flowy, lightweight, and comfortable. I sized up, based on the sizing chart, because formal dresses often run smaller and I wanted extra movement so as not to stress the beading. Highly recommend, especially if in between sizes or curvy/hourglass. Dress absolutely will require hemming unless you are extremely tall but the design allows for it. Perfect for a formal event or wedding.

My daughter picked out this dress for me to wear as the mother-of-the-bride for her wedding. It fit me perfectly, I just needed to have it shortened a little bit. I'm 5'6" tall. It was flattering on my full-figure. I received so many compliments. This dress is so elegant and classy. I also liked the price. Can't go wrong with this dress.

I love several of the Adrian Papell gowns I have seen, but this isn't one of them. The material seems flimsy, and the gold glitter on it looks cheap and tacky. I returned the gown

Tried this dress, same brand at large clothing store and loved it but was badly damaged with tons of missing beads. Ordered this one same size but when it came it was a smaller fit than one at store. Not sure why but also concerned about the amount of bead damage I saw on one at store. Returned.

I got the blush gold color for a Christmas Concert. I absolutely love this gown. I’m 5’ 5” (5’ 4.5” to be exact) and 133 lbs and I got it in size 2, size I normally wear from Adriana Papelle and it fit very well and very comfortable, plenty of room. I made the right decision by not sizing up. The only alteration was for length, half inch of outer material and 1” from lining. I read the reviews about the beading. My dress came in all beads intact but it did loose a few beads of a row in the back in the process of dry cleaning and trying on, I can’t say when. The gown came with extra beads and I fixed the one row in the back and reinforced a few that were loose. Totally worth it, the gown is delightful, just loved it, a total vision.

When I was looking for a dress for my son's wedding, I kept seeing this dress & passing it over. After a long search for the "perfect" dress & failing, I became desperate & ordered 6 dresses from Amazon's try before you pay program 1 week before the wedding. This dress was one of the dresses I tried on & I loved it. I wish I would have ordered it from the beginning. It was plenty long (I'm 5'8), the fit was very flattering. I received tons of compliments on the dress. I am so happy that I found a winner in my desperate final hours of dress shopping!
