I purchased one for our 18 month old who loves my drums. She seeks out this drum whenever she visits our home, so we also purchased one for her home. Our 30+ year old son played it when home for Christmas, and he quickly conveyed that he would love one for his home. It's a lovely, relaxing, melodic, instrument that can be used for many ages. I actually set the drum sticks aside for our granddaughter, as the black balls can be removed, so a choking hazard. I used a bamboo toothbrush, wrapped it with cotton, then taped them with black tape with a bulbous end. These sticks work beautifully for little ones and safer than the drumsticks with balls that easily become loose.

Like playing a wind chime, I got a mid sized tongue drum. It can be tuned by bending the petals. It came in C and the hammers are meant to be played with both hands. It never needs tuning and I am looking for books on songs… It is unique and fun.

I bought one of these from a different company years ago for my daughter. It was pretty expensive, but loved the gift. I bought this one for my nephew years later, and it was just as good quality and a great hit. Definitely affordable compared to other ones I purchased.

I bought this for my little guys birthday who was just turning 7yrs old. He was so so excited. He goes and plays it often. At Christmas we had my mama over who is 80yrs old and some dementia. Talk about enjoyment. She played for about an hour. I have taken over to her assisted living place a few times and all the gals sit around playing on it. Does anyone play songs? No... But they enjoy the tones and just playing music. I will be getting my mama her own. The only thing is I will get her a smaller one so she can lift it easier on and off her lap easier when sitting in her chair. Highly recommend this. The tone is beautiful and it's great for any age

Purchased for my 3 and 6 year old grandchildren. The tone is beautiful, even when they play it more like a drum. We are exploring various instruments, and some refining of approach is still needed. I found this to be great quality. I like the case for storage. Delivery was excellent.

Lovely little musical instrument. You don’t need to be a musician, read music or have any particular skills to play this. It sounds lovely. Gave as a gift to an adult family member who I thought was stressed. I’m sure it’s helped relieve tension. Looks great on the shelf too. Kids love to play on it and it’s been used loads

El instrumento es muna pasada. Muy original y el sonido es muy bonito. Lo único que las pegatinas no venían correctamente y para identificar las notas fue un poco complicado, pero aún así, fue todo un acierto y un descubrimiento

Wow! I have only just got into steel tongue drums and yes, this is cheap. It is a cheap, accessible and mass produced steel tongue drum at a budget price. And you know what? That’s okay! Yes, other drums can and DO sound much better than this one. BUT for 49 pounds, this is absolutely worth every penny. Every note sounds lovely, and as someone with no musical talent this is such a fun instrument for improvised and relaxed play. Just hit whatever notes you like and enjoy. One thing though - you can’t really easily use your hands with this unless you use your fingernails! Maybe it’s my technique? I don’t know! But the mallets, when hit lightly against each section, produce in the drum a beautiful sound! Genuinely so pleased with this as I’m a school teacher and definitely going to use this with my class for mindfulness practice!
