Lanyani 1050 Pieces Mixed Shapes Glass Mosaic Tiles for Crafts, Colorful Stained Glass Pieces for Mosaic Projects

These are beautiful - great variety of rich colors. I just washed the 1050 piece set and separated them out by rectangles in one divider, black/white/clear in another, and am including a photo. Out of all the pieces, I tossed 6 pieces due to an odd shape and/or ding - pleasant surprise at the awesome quality. Some are variegated, heights vary some (pros and cons to that one). Overall, wonderful product. They came in a small plastic container which will also be handy for sorting purposes (not shown).

I have ordered these Lanyani mosaic tiles twice now because I enjoy their size, shape and the wide variety of appealing colors. They are the perfect size and thickness for the smaller mosaic craft projects that I do (such as mosaic tiled wine bottles). Both orders were exactly as advertised. (This is a pet peeve of mine.) As for those reviewers that complained about size, yes, the tiles are small, but under the specifications, the vendor CLEARLY states that they are size small and also provides the sizes of each of the tiles in the photos. Expect small tiles exactly as advertised. Out of my two orders, I did not have any broken tiles and very few tiles with tiny chips. I have not notice scratches on the tiles. Out of all those tiles, there are only a few that are misshapen because the cut wasn’t made right. Out of the number of tiles in the order, that should not be an issue. Residual dust from the factory process of making glass tiles can remain on the tiles and settle at the bottom of the container along with tiny slivers and chips. THIS IS NORMAL. You may want to rinse the tiles and the inside of the container to remove these particles before handling. The reason I took off one star is that, although you will receive some of every lovely color, there is a noticeably unequal distribution of colors in the container. I received a lot of many colors and about half that number of several others. You will receive lots of nice, colorful, quality tiles for your money when you order these. Enjoy!

I picked these up to start my own home set of tiles after taking a class. I recommend these for being the best value on Amazon I could find. These tiles are good quality, consistent, general use mosaic tiles with no defective or broken pieces. Almost all are exact squares, with just the odd few with one odd angled side. Most of the colors are pure and opaque; some, like the gray, which is a blend of white and black, have some subtle swirls and have gradation along light-to-dark with a few of them venturing into green or violet. And the green-yellows have a bit of swirl in them. A pretty even set along all colors, the batch I got had probably fewest pure reds and true greens, but the inclusion of pinks, ivories, and two tones of red as well as the variations in the gray were a nice surprise, and will be very useful. I gave them a quick water rinse in a veggie net before sorting them, which is generally good practice to remove glass dust and keep your space clean. Tile thickness is just shy of 1/8 inch thick, and tile size is 3/4" square. I have found that this is one of two "standard" sizes in precut mosaic squares; the other is 1/2" square (from cutting of 1 inch square standards into 4 pieces) with the same thickness. Having these two types will give you the most variety if you like working with precut square tiles in mosaic.

Very nice assorted sizes however; they don’t feel like glass… look n feel like plastic.

Beautiful Colors they are very thin glass. They are about the size of your fingernails and you may need a second set to make symmetrical designs I played out the rectangle pieces; they are the largest pieces all others are a fraction of the rectangle. I think I have 3 rows of 40 pieces so about 120 rectangles. They will be easy to cut and I will have to place with tweezers to get in the pattern I want. I am happy with them just wish they were bigger and am going on the hunt for round pieces as my designs need more than hard corners.

This item was as described. It was part of a larger purchase of various basic mosaic tiles. These will be used to fill in among larger tiles in various mosaic projects.

These are quite thin compared to the other mosaic tiles I use but they are good for texture and contrast
