Works For Deer
Update 2025: This repellent continues to be my go to for Bambi-proofing my yard. Just ordered more for this year. It works great, but will always have to re-apply it after it rains. Less often in the heat of summer as it tends to last longer with climate change temps. Nothing touches what's been sprayed. Not a nibble, not a hoof print left behind, nothing. The deer know. Upping my review to 5 stars because after all these years of using this, this repellent continues to do what it's supposed to without the price going up. Thank you to the manufacturer!! OG Review: I've had ongoing problems with deer eating my hostas. That seems to be their absolute favorite thing. The last few years, they've turned my yard into an eat-it-all salad bar, meaning they're now eating plants they've never touched before. This year they pruned every single bud and flower from my day lily bed. About 150 flowers and buds gone in one night. Grrrr. I almost went out and bought a shotgun. Long story short, this repellent has been pretty good about deterring them. It gets 4 stars simply because I have to reapply it at least twice a week and right after it rains. It is not rain proof, nor does it last longer than 4-5 days. It doesn't completely stop them either. They still nibble on things and do minimal damage, almost as if they're checking to see if I forgot to spray. I'm mixing up strong batches and spraying everything that might be tempting to them to deter their sampling. I think part of having success with this spray is consistently spraying and starting off in the early spring with it. The deer sort of learn what's been sprayed. If I miss even one hosta, believe me, that's the one that gets eaten!! In addition to this repellent, I've put up deer fencing around the veggie garden and I have my wildflower garden covered with netting stretched out over rebar. There's simply too much to spray. I also purchased some of those blinking red lights (Predators Eye) because it often rains here in the middle of the night and by morning, everything gets clipped right down to the stems. It's insane I have to go through this much trouble, but I guess that's the trade off for living away from urban areas. Side note....this does not work on dogs, raccoons, cats, squirrels or possums. This repellent works best by spraying it on things that are being eaten by animals, not as a barrier to keep animals out of particular areas.

actually works - birds gone.
I was skeptical, but this bird repelling spray really did the job. I used it on the trees and the carport at the back of my 3-acre lot, where birds used to constantly leave droppings all over my car. I mixed the spray with water and applied it using a pool toy soaker—covered the inner ceiling of the carport, the limbs of nearby trees, the concrete around my shop, and even the exterior walls. It’s been about three weeks, and the results are clear: no birds where I sprayed. They’re still in the area, but they avoid the treated spots completely. It took a few days for them to get the message, but once they did, they stopped landing altogether. The smell is noticeable when applying—kind of strong and hard to get out of your nose—but once it’s down, it fades quickly. My kids haven’t mentioned it at all, so it’s not lingering in the air. For how effective it’s been, I’d say that’s a fair trade-off. If you’re dealing with birds nesting or making a mess, this stuff works. Just be ready for a strong scent during application and make sure to cover the areas thoroughly.

More economical than the individual bottle; repels deer for 4-5 days
I'm writing a similar review that I wrote for the individual bottle of repels-all. The only difference is this concentrated bottle is much more economical. I reuse the individual repels-all spray to mix from this concentrate bottle. I've friends that swear this is the best deer repellent on the market. I'm not completely in agreement though it is one of the best. It's easy to use. I find the wider spray works better by giving more coverage with less product. I live in Central Oregon and have deer come through my yard every day. They particularly love to eat my burning bushes. I use the wider spray option and literally watch deer come up to my bushes and then turn away. This lasts for 4-5 days and then I need to respray. After 4-5 days, the deer start taking little bites here and there but don't do the deep dive into the bushes like they normally would. A little refresher of the spray does the trick to keep them away. We don't get much rain in the summer here, so a refresher spray every 4-5 days seems to be enough. If we happen to get a thunderstorm or shower, I will then re-apply a more thorough spray to the bushes. The product has a strong black pepper smell which does linger for a couple of hours. I am careful not to open windows shortly after spraying.

I swear this stuff attracts rabbits
Mixed according to instructions and have been spraying my flowers and the surrounding mulch daily. Each morning, rabbits are sitting right where I had sprayed nibbling away on my flowers. No rain/sprinklers that may have washed the repellent away, so this is simply an ineffective product. You would think by the smell of this it would work, but clearly does not. I thought I would try a less expensive alternative to Liquid Fence (Which is VERY effective but pricey), but this will end up costing me over $150 in perennials that have been chewed to the ground. Update 6/27/2024 Now the rabbits are simply mocking this product. There are 2 spots in my yard (beneath a Lilac bush and under my Peonies) where the rabbits always hang out in the morning. I chase them away and spray down both areas with this "repellent". Sure enough, next morning they are back. Worthless.

Recomnend - Squrrels/raccoons (Update)
UPDATE: Repels-All has FINALLY been the thing that worked to retrain and get rid of my squirrel/racoon uninvited guests. I have not had a squirrel digging in my lawn for over a week - racoons are gone. Previously, it was non-stop squirrels every day. This repellent works - don't hesitate to buy -- but don't hesitate to give it a little time for them to get the eviction notice. Determination works -- as does this product.

Smells terrible and works briefly
This stuff works but not as well as the advertising claims. This definitely doesn’t survive rains and needs to be reapplied every time it rains, despite the label saying otherwise. It also definitely doesn’t survive not last two months. Deer have better sense of smell than i do but this stuff is putrid and by the next day i can’t smell any of it on my plants. It does seem to work for a brief period of time but is cumbersome to apply to my plants frequently and the bottle doesn’t last long with hours much product is needed per gallon of water. I would use this again on very specific plants like my small fruit trees but it’s a pain for full gardens. A hose sprayer like you use for weed killer would work well for application of larger areas

Deer and bunnies begone!
Repels All smells horrible, but it's the best product I've found to protect my gardens from the deer and rabbits. I use it just before dark when my neighbors have gone inside. It's not 100% effective, but sprayed generously every ten days, it has protected many of my flowers and shrubs. I've used it successfully for years and years.
