Nair Men's Hair Removal Cream, Body Hair Remover for Men, 13 Oz Bottle

Nair Men Hair Remover works as advertised. Was able to remove hair about 3 minutes after application. No redness or rash afterwards and was mostly smooth. A few pesky hairs remained but were removed with a second application. As the instruction state, it is best to wipe it off with a washcloth as the extra friction helps pull and remove the hairs. Found it easy to spread it to other areas that were unintended by moving around and brushing against the cream, so it is best to apply in shower and not move too much until ready to wash it off, unless you are applying it everywhere of course. Warning label says to not use in sensitive areas as well as on face. Do not use on face as it is caustic and spreads easy to unwanted areas. Works everywhere else though without a problem. Better than waxing as it is cheaper and pain free.

1st time using this product and it absolutely works. Simply follow the directions exactly: apply a generous amount to the desired area...(do not rub it into your skin, do not apply after showering-your skin should be completelydry!), wait minimum 1 minute (but no more than 10!), and then shower as usual. Your unwanted hair will simply rinse away. I personally used this on the nether regions - spread it on and let it sit, and I was impressed. There is a sort of lemon/citrus-like scent, but after letting it sit, the smell of chemicals and melted hair overtook the fragrance and was becoming unbearable after some time. I gotta admit, literally 11 months since last time using any body hair trimmers, or clippers, so you can imagine the overgrowth, but with just one appplication, ALL unwanted growth was removed at the base, leaving my body smooth and soft.

You know what, I bought this because i use a straight razor and as a lot of men will agree if you slip on the gibbly bits you're going to cut them off. I received the product today in a cellophane seran wrap type BS that i struggled to get off. I had a date scheduled, right? So, i went and i put it on as the directions said. I let sit while my shower got nice and cold and then i jumped in. It says it works with water but some of it will wash off - dont be alarmed as it still freaking works. Dont leave it on your nads for too long though i think i had it on for 4 minutes total and it still tingles a little bit. Dont expect to get any action after, if it does burn and stop, it WILL START BURNING AGAIN. I'm giving it 4 stars because i cant follow directions and have to violate a package of frozen peas. Overall, this is a fantastic product. over time i feel that the burn wont be so bad for the first time, it didnt really burn to the point i wont use it again. The hair comes right off, you can use your thumb or a damp wash cloth, either one. just make sure you wash after and wash the thing you used to wipe yourself down, as it smells like sulfur. I will be using this again. I'm not badly burnt to where itll hurt for a week, maybe a few more hours. Its a lot easier and faster than shaving the nooks and crannies around the trunk. Theyre sensitive, find your soft spot, you can reapply if you have to just be careful!

As a woman on the hairier side I had to get the extra strength. If it works for the boys it'll do wonders for me, and it did! Super safe to use is you stay within the time limit, very effective at removing even the most stubborn har follicles and prevents razor bumps and ingrown hairs, I love this product!

** UPDATE 4/20/15 ** Review has been changed to 3 stars. The Cons listed below still hold true. However, the resulting hair loss on my legs did indeed last a day or two longer than shaving. Nothing mind-blowing but certainly a more extended result versus shaving. It still takes too much of the product at too high of a price for too patchy of a result for me to rate higher. I will use the remaining 1/2 bottle at some point but have already went back to shaving my legs with a reusable, disposable razor that's faster and much, much cheaper. ** ORIGINAL REVIEW ** I am not impressed with this product. As a matter of fact, I'm disappointed. I ride my bike often so I do indeed shave my legs, especially after Specialized posted their Wind ("Win") Tunnel Test video to YouTube proving you can shave 70 seconds off a 40km distance which is significant. I just used it for the first time on my legs going from my ankles up to my mid-thigh on each leg. I followed the directions of applying a nice, thick layer of the product without rubbing it in and waited the maximum 10 minutes before showering, as the directions also say to do. I then followed the remainder of the instructions regarding water stream and such. The end result is a big letdown. There's hardly anything to say that's good but I'll break it down: Good: - Razor-free hair removal. Bad: - Only removed approximately 65% of my leg hairs. - Took longer than shaving from start to finish. - Took 1/2 the bottle to achieve this subpar result which means you're paying a high price for a bad result. - Price (see above) Pretty much a bad product all the way around. I have very thin, hardly non-existent visibility of my leg hair. On a scale of 1-10 for leg hair thickness and coverage I'd put myself at a 2, maybe a 3. On top of that, my last razor shave was 5 days ago so the hairs this product had to remove were very, very short. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. It's just that bad all things considered. I'll be throwing it away since the other half of the bottle will, at best, only give me another ~65% effectiveness which means it's worthless. Big waste of money on this item.

Go for it! I was hesitant about it. My skin is pretty sensitive and my experience has been great with this! I use it on my upper legs. Like others have stated, read instructions. And read them completely. Before you begin, look at the entire process and determine whether you have the time to go through it. My first time I applied a small dab in a small area on my upper legs. The test area was about the size of my thumb just to test for sensitivity. I say, when you do this, wait a few days to see if your skin reacts after a day or two. If no reaction, then go all in! Once you do, the results are fantastic! There is a slight smell to the cream, but you will be showing after, and will easily go away. When you shower, use 'pool' water temperature. (not hot tub temperature lol). When you shower, avoid rubbing your treated area. If you use a loofah, maybe skip this step and just use your hands for at least a couple of days. You want to go easy on this area. Hair grows back of course, but this is so much easier than using a razor or trimmer. And you get fewer bumps or ingrown hairs.

We ordered this for my brother, who wanted to see if he could get rid of his body hair easily. I have used Nair in the past myself (I'm a female) when I was younger (in my teens) a few times and never had any major problems with it (except the smell was always awful and too much to bear). My brother experienced SEVERE irritation of his arms using this product. This was his first time using a depilatory cream. I am talking SEVERE! I'm talking BRIGHT RED irritation to where I was super concerned the first day about what had happened and was wondering if we should go to the doctor. He left it on less than 10 minutes (maybe 7-8 mins) and rinsed it off. Nowhere else on his body was he irritated. The arms were the first place he placed the cream. It's been over a week and the redness has gone way down, but hasn't fully healed yet. He used hydrocortisone cream for a few days. It's shocking how bad this product is and what happened to him. NEVER AGAIN. My advice to everyone: Trust and use a razor (or get laser hair remover) before using this or any other depilatory cream!!!!

This is the only thing that actually works for me. Due to genes, despite me being a woman my hair grows very fast, dark and thick like a guys. Thus, I have to use this one because the regular one does not work for me. This one works amazingly for me! I use it every 4 days and it does no damage or irritation to my skin whatsoever! It has also been helping thin my hair out bit by bit! I have been using it for almost 6 months now and it's a drastic difference!! I highly recommend this to people. Now I will say, really pay attention to your skin and be patient because in the beginning it wasn't working all that well. I first tried leaving it on for longer, but it really wasn't making a huge difference so I used thicker coats and that worked perfectly. Made me run out faster, however once a montb hit I could already make tbe layers more thin and have been sticking with leaving it on for only 5 minutes in order to prevent exceeding the time limit by mistake. Again, be patient and experiment SAFELY to see what works best for your skin/hair.
