Review: Very convenient and easy to use - The portable water filter was perfect for my hiking trip. Small and lightweight enough to easily carry around. While on my hike I was able to get the water directly out of the river to drink or store in the water bag. I can even filter water out of a bottle due to the extension tube that can connect to a water bottle. The tube is a water filter that removes contaminates that can affect the water such as rocks, leaves, chlorine and mercury just to name a few. The removal rate is up to 99.99999. What a life saver it turned out to be on my hike.
Review: 4 trips & it works fine - I've taken it on 4 trips & it works fine. Filling it is a little tricky. The flow is usually a fast drip, not a steady stream. I fill it, hang it, and leave it to do other tasks. I found it's important to clear the water line of bubbles to get a good flow. Also, you will need to clean it well and dry it after each trip.
