Overall a good product
So I originally bought this because I eat entirely too many cold cuts from the deli. I drive for a living and sandwiches/ wraps are the easiest to eat while driving, and fast food sucks so I make my lunches at home before I leave. Processed deli meat has a lot of preservatives and sodium so my intention was to just cook chicken breast/ pork tenderloin/ turkey at the house and slice it myself. This product does the trick pretty well. The blade does not spin anywhere near as fast as I thought it would as I've used professional equipment before and kind of expected that but it does slice through cooked meat beautifully. Other people said the noise is kind of loud, I don't think it's that bad at all. It came with a serrated blade however for $20 I was able to buy a non serrated blade from the company. Cleaning this is not horribly difficult. Including the blade, four pieces come off super easy and can be tossed into a sink full of soapy water. The blade is not sharp enough to take your finger off if you reach into the sink and grab it, which I kind of wished it was but for home use is probably safer than it isn't. It is still a fine enough edge to cut through the meat and definitely bread but your fingers will be safe in the dishwater. The rest of the machine can be wiped down with a damp rag. Little scraps of meat do tend to be all over it when I'm done however wiping down the counter half of your done cleaning the slicer isn't too difficult either. Did notice as others have mentioned there are a couple of places, little tiny areas that little bits of meat could get into and getting that cleaned out for health purposes is important. My solution was to grab an extra toothbrush the next time I was at the store. Get a nasty color handle that nobody wants and leave it in the kitchen near the sink. It works beautifully to get into those little areas and dislodge anything that is stuck there. ( Hmmm, kind of like what a toothbrush is designed for 🤔) So yes overall I believe this is worth the money I paid and considering a pound of sliced chicken breast at the deli can cost about $8, and a pound of chicken breast that I cook here at home cost me about $2, this will pay for itself in a couple months.

Perfect for KBBQ Slices
I got this so I can cut my own kbbq meat at home. I found that slicing your own kbbq meat is beneficial for 2 reasons: cheaper prices and control + consistency over thickness of slices. Specifically I mainly slice brisket for kbbq into thin 2-3 mm pieces (if you slice thicker than this then the brisket can be chewier/harder than desired for kbbq; typically you want brisket pretty thin). I've found the key to slicing this thin is freezing your brisket first. I buy a full brisket at costco or sam's club, then cut it into chunks that I can slice in the future, then freeze it. I don't mean freeze it for 2-3 hours pre-slicing. I mean full on freeze - leave it in your freezer for days, weeks, months for all I care. Then start slicing them when you're ready. You'll get thin consistent slice every time. Better than purchasing it pre-sliced at the market because those are inconsistent sizes and sometimes too thick. I do the same with pork belly - buy at costco, cut it up into slicing size, and freeze it. Then I slice to pork belly samgysaal size and I'll even slice some really thin for think pork belly rice bowls. Tastes great! So far this has lasted great - I've used it at least once a week and haven't had to change blades yet either. The power is fine and does not stop suddenly even with cutting frozen meat for more than an hour. Clean up is fairly easy but does take time. I unscrew the blade every time to wash it. Taking off all the parts that can be washed is easy - simply wash those in the sink. The hardest part is wiping down the machine parts with hot/warm cloth, soapy suds, and then again with hot/warm water. I try to take care of my machine to make it last longer and to make sure there is no contamination/germs for the family. Key tip: I use a toothpick to get the little pieces of meat that stick to the harder to reach crevices in the machine. Overall - this has really served me well especially for KBBQ and I'm very pleased.

Great slicer for my kitchen
I really don’t have anything to compare this with as it is my first slicer. I have used it for veggies and summer sausage and so far it has worked great. Clean up is a breeze and the only downside is the way the slices fall off the blade and onto the base of the machine it could be me but that is just a minor issue and I really do enjoy using it.

Worth it for the price!
I make jerky pretty much every week, and a meat slicer is by far my best friend! Had no problem going through the semi frozen meat, easy to use, and clean up isn't hard at all! Love that I can throw the removable parts in the dishwasher!

Nice for the price - Made preparing Easter Antipasto a dream
Spent ~30m slicing cheese blocks and some steaks. It's a decent unit so long as you remember it's not what you see at the deli counter (it's not meant to be). Does a good job. Could be a smidge easier to clean, but it is cleanable and has good safety features. Much better than another unit we had. UPDATE: the maximum thickness is 9/16" (just over 1/2"). I compared this unit to the Ecomerr and this unit is better on several points. The suction pads hold better, it's easier to clean, and the motor turns faster so you can slice more quickly. UPDATE: Although preparing Easter Antipasto was not the reason for this purchase, I realized it might make life easier. Normally I hand slice the cheeses, the veges, the this the that, and front to back it usually takes me 1.5 hours to prepare a holiday antipasto for six-eight people. Took 1/2 hour front to back using this machine to slice veges, cheeses, et cetera, and that includes cleanup. Truly a dream machine!

good but design flaw
there is a gap under the blade, and some meat pieces could be stuck in it, must clean carefully

My big question was would this cut hard dry summer sausage (I hang for 3 months and it’s very hard to cut with an expensive very sharp knife and exhausting). Question no more it worked like a champ, I set at thin slices, didn’t not go at it like it’s a $3000 Hobart machine, slow cuts and it works well. I cut some 1 month hung summer sausage was able to do that much faster so it would be quick for soft items. The blade spins slow compared to a commercial machine so soft art slow and get a feel for it. Be careful with the plastic slide mechanism, it works well but not sure it would take any abuse. Everything comes apart easy for cleaning, I never needed to use suction cups, cord is not very long maybe 3’ so it’s meant for kitchen counter, I used extension cord to cut 2 large long summer sausages at the kitchen table sitting. Will update if I have any issues but very straightforward, I’m storing in original packaging to protect when not in use.

La rapidez y sencillez para completar una tarea está excelente. Lástima que los engranes son de plástico, esperemos no se desgasten rápido. Lo usamos para rebanar Brisket ya los clientes les encanta lo delgado que queda
