Great replicas An outstanding model!
As an integral component of several branches of the military it is absolutely indispensable.

Looks good.
Box came sealed in plastic and the parts were also sealed including the decals. Part look to be in good shape with no noticable flash. Appearance 10/10 Will try to remember to update this after I build it but that may be some time due to health issues.

Damaged box, but everything appears to be present
Arrived in an old worn & damaged/squished (original) box. Clear seal was dirty & worn. Thankfully the model was in a sealed plastic bag. Directions & stickers were free floating & in good condition. Model is present for my son for Christmas.

Find something better
Amazon shipped this model box in an envelope....a dumb idea as it came smashed and certainly not giftable. The parts were showing through the smashed box, and it looked very cheaply made. Find something better to buy. I returned immediately.

Exactly what I wanted

Italeri have created an exceptionally nice model of this iconic helicopter. Beautifully detailed and appointed with nice internal fittings. At this scale it is a large model and the rotors will take up a fair bit of shelf space. Although to be fair, having them rotate freely adds to the value of this model. It just wouldn't be right if they were folded. The excess of detail makes this a nightmare or a dream for painting depending on your view. Getting this thing into an authentic colour scheme with weathering and stains on the relevant pieces is actually a pleasure, and the detailing provided helps a lot to get this right. No, oil streaks etc are not modelled on, but the detailing for vents, exhaust and other parts is more than sufficient to see where wear and tear and weathering would occur. Worth every penny for a beautiful model that has had some care taken in it's creation.
