I have a lot of fine, wavy/curly hair and was worried when I saw the size of these. However, these hold a high pony all day for me! I can also use them for a half up look and they hold half of my hair as well as all of my hair. I love the color options and the fact that I got 6 for less than the price of 1 name brand clip! They also seem very sturdy and can even hold my daughter's want/curly, thicker, higher density hair as well! The easiest way to put the clip in and get it EXACTLY where you want it is to put your hair into the pony or half up using one of the clear rubber bands (the kind used for fancy up-do's), then put the clip on and either leave the band in place or snap it and remove it. This way it is so much easier to put in and you don't get random hairs caught in the clip!

There is so much less hair loss/damage with these compared to hair ties. I have thin, curly hair and they stay in fairly well. I can even close them a bit further beyond the clasp. They wouldn't be large enough for very thick hair. The black ones are flimsier than the other colors.

They seem to be very sturdy, but I had a very difficult time closing the clasps. Perhaps my hair is too thick and I need a bigger clip?!

I bought because it was listed as 2.5" in diameter, but upon arrival I discovered that this is the dimension for the entire clip. The OPENING ITSELF is only 1" x 1.5". If I REALLY force it, I can get my ponytail into the clip, but this is probably better suited for half-up styles. (suprisingly it did not break when doing this!) Other than the size being small, it is still cute and really sturdy/holds well, so I will keep!

I've purchased these clips five times! I love them, but little pieces kept breaking off of them until there were too many teeth missing to hold up my hair. I like the way the pony tail looks, and this is the only thing that doesn't hurt my head; even scrunchies are uncomfortable. I have thick, coarse hair and these work so well for me--easy to put in and hold up all day (unless teeth are missing!). This last batch seems much stronger than the previous, so I have high hopes that I don't have to buy more any time soon. In this pic I've had the clip in all day, including walking and swimming.

clips are super cute i love them, but tooth break easily, even if one is gone the clip is waste as it cant hold the hair, this is my second set and same issue, very disappointing

These are perfect for pulling my hair up on the top of my head for sleeping. I have long, fairly thick hair and these hold it up beautifully. Update: after using these only at night, teeth are starting to fall out. So they're not going to last long. I'll have to find something of better quality.

These are straight trash. They do hold up my straight fine hair for a bit, but they are not easy to put in, and they pull my hair one strand at a time while slowly slipping out. They way these clips are designed make it so you have to hold your hair with one hand, while fiddling with the clip with the other, which makes it very difficult to not trap hair in the clasp, and to get a tight hold. When it inevitably traps a few hairs in the clasp, it starts to pull at one single hair at a time, which is super irritating. They aren’t completely useless, but I wish I hadn’t bought these.

Have been searching a banana clip for quite sometime. The product is perfect for thin-medium hair

It helps to keep hair tidy and nice and the hairs do not hand out it is like a small colorful pony tail, I also shared with my friends.
