These are nice! 😎
Fit was good and accurate. Material felt really good I use it when I box some I gives a lot more movement. They look pretty dope I got the all black pair to match the outfit. Pretty light weight I would say. Had some stretch. The black color though is my favorite.

Perfect for kickboxing
Great quality shorts. I purchased these in the red and blue. Both wash and dry just fine in the machine. I use them for kickboxing and don’t ride up at all. Not too tight not too lose. Just perfect!

best athletic shorts ever!
these are comfortable, and have ample room for my abnormally large thighs! the material is sturdy, however, i discovered i should not have been using the dryer, and that air drying is best to maintain the elasticity of the waistband. FYI! other than that, i train in these shorts. i do weights and cardio in these shorts. i kick, elbow, knee, and punch in these shorts. i also sleep in these shorts. i want to go to work in these shorts, but HR had an issue with that! i want to think its because my legs are jacked and the VP of whatever is jealous.

no pockets and runs small
NO POCKETS AND RUNS SMALL. other than that, solid workout shorts. I’m usually and XL but these are tight on my thighs. Go a size up and probably a pair of undershorts that have a pocket.

Worth Buying
I'm a kickboxer, but I'm not Dutch and I can't wear the tiny briefs like Bas and I'm not from Thailand so I don't want to appropriate someone else's culture/religion/language. These are perfect. The fit is great, the cut is embarrassingly high and looks ridiculous but allows free leg movement without binding. They seem durable and will withstand everything (except, I'm guessing, kicks and teeps from a filthy opponent sporting freakishly long toenails). If you need to embarrass yourself by looking like a total fight nerd in your next super serious Point Muay Thai match, these will work when you're blocking with a high knee or kicking that dude in his head gear. Without showing off your junk, I mean. Unless that's your thing. In which case, why wear shorts at all, amirite? You do you. I'll wear Anthem. Can and do recommend.

Great Bang For The Buck
I usually do heavy bag Muay Thai workouts wearing standard training shorts. However, due to the length, they felt constricting when performing kicks. These shorts by Anthem are perfect for kickboxing due to the shorter length and slits on the side. They fit well and are good quality. For reference I am 5'7", 145 lbs and a 30 waist. I purchased the medium size and am happy with the fit. I probably could have done a small but I feel the length would have been too short. These shorts are a good value and I appreciate the low key design. I also purchased Anthem's 50/50 Muay Thai shorts. Only difference is the material on the 50/50 shorts feels softer. Both are great though and I highly recommend.

Not functional for Muay Thai
They aim to mimic the look and aesthetic of traditional muay thai shorts but they unfortunately miss the mark. They are very loose and airy, combined with the fact that the inner leg length is significantly shorter than the outer leg length, these will ride as far up as humanly possible to your crotch any time you raise your leg up, making them look more like underwear as opposed to shorter length shorts. And there is no security for the downstairs. That said they would work for running or anything that doesnt require kicking or lifting the leg.

If you're a bigger person then these are the shorts for you. I'm 6'3 240 lbs with a big caboose and thighs and it's basically impossible to find Muay Thai shorts that fit comfortably. These Anthem 50/50 shorts are perfect. They're roomy and comfortable, and they follow North American sizing conventions. When I buy shorts from the major athletic brands, I usually go XXL, so I bought these 50/50 shorts in XXL and they fit perfectly. I bought a few other shorts from Anthem and these 50/50 shorts are my favourite so far.
