Yes this can be connected to a 3 pin UK plug socket tho the wire is only about 1 metre in length

Use they are. The only thing is you need a weatherproof box for connecting the light as the have a short flex. I use a Wiska box - a bit more expensive but much better than the alternative

I brought one of these light but it didn’t come with a senser to turn it on and off

Fit a stand alone PIR, they're better than the integrated ones and you can position them where needed
