But sure, it'll leave marks on leather after prolonged use. **Q: Is the backrest meant to move? When installed correctly in my car, the back rest seems to be able to tilt forward slightly. Is this normal?** A: Mine does this also. I think the back of the seat is hinged slightly so it fits different back seats as they are all angled differently. Once the child is in with the seatbelt on nothing is going to move. **Q: Does it recline?** A: I wouldn’t say it reclines but the back can move to fit the angle of the seat it’s going on.
