This stuff is just shy of being permanent. Be certain your parts are exactly where you want them. Fortunately it cures quite slowly so you have plenty of time for alignment. I use it (like most everything else I buy) in my RC hobby. It will fix RC boat drive dogs in place and they will not let go. If you absolutely positively must remove it you will need to heat it up to around 400 degrees (F) to get it to let loose. You wouldn't want to use in a crematorium for example, but, for everythign else it is great Locktite 15285 will set this stuff and make it rock solid. I am sure Permatex makes a catalyst for this, but, the Locktite was what I had. I clean the parts well with acetone or mineral spirits and make sure there is no oil or contamination. Good stuff and a little goes a long way,

I had an engine bore sleeve come loose on a 51 Ford 8N, I was able to easily retain it back in place with this product

For some reason, I couldn't find this locally. I needed for a job and it would have had to drive 2 hours to get it. I let it cure for the instructed 24 hours and seems to be holding up. My only real complaint is that this stuff is kind of runny, I put it on and when I was inserting the spark plug tube back into place, it dripped on the block and I had the awesome task of cleaning that up. Other than it being kind of runny, this seems to hold up as promised.
