Canasta Grande Wicker Picnic Basket with Lid - Large Picnic Basket for 2

I was looking for a cute picnic basket that was functional as well as decorative and this fit the bill. Unfortunately the first one that I received had issues with the weaving - the bottom branches were all broken or incomplete - at least that's what it looked like. If you glide your hand over the edge, it would scratch you and would definitely snag on any loose blanket material that you laid the basket on. And because it was missing branches I was worried at some point the stuff I put in the basket would eventually fall out from the bottom. I was disappointed and went on Amazon to return, but they had an exchange option. I really loved the look so I decided to give them a second chance and exchanged it. The new one came quickly and just in time for picnic at a winery that I had planned. The new one was was fantastic, beautiful and the bottom weaving was definitely complete. I ordered the large size so it was big enough for food, water, extra blanket. I love the top which can be used as a small table. Even my husband commented on the functionality and thought that was great idea. So glad I got it!

I'm a tad disappointed in this purchase. Although very sturdy and well made it isnt what I ordered.The photo implies its is red checkered top..... what I received has more of a faded orange hugh.I purchased this item solely based on the red checkers to be placed with our vintage truck that will be shown in a meusem

The stitching came apart the first and only time we used the basket

This basket is the perfect design and size for 3 or more people. Great for larger groups. Very nice color and design. Nice quality. Would recommend. Happy with this purchase.
