It is fully adjustable and the adjust meant is made by setting the velcro adhered sections each side of the belt connector. As the velcroed section are of the inside, there's no movement once the adjustment is made. The connector is excellent and I've not had it come open unexpectedly once. I currently have no use for the attached loops so I simply move them to the back and they cause no trouble. They will, however, be useful if I add other items to the belt.
