Very nice quality and detail - worth the price
I purchased this item, along with the Schleich Crocodile (add-on item) which was half the price. This is made of a very sturdy plastic and has a nice weight to it. The mold and paint job are also very detailed and the moving bottom jaw is a really nice detail. As you can see from the photos, the Alligator (green) is a bit smaller than the Crocodile (brown). I have no idea if this is accurate to nature, but just stating in the event anyone is looking to compare these two items. I am very happy with both and plan to keep them. If I had to choose one over the other I'd choose the Croc, due to it being half the price and larger, and the fact that my 3 year old doesn't know the difference yet ... but both are of equal and excellent quality, depending on which species you want. Highly recommend.

Fun for all ages
Our toddler loves gators and Dino’s and animals of all kinds so naturally we had to get this. It’s larger than I expected which honestly I’m happy about because you can see the details and it’s harder to lose amongst the tons of toddler toys we’ve accumulated

A perfect little gator!
This little guy is realistically adorable and just the right size for small hands. I didn’t even realize until probably 18–20 months in that the jaw is articulated, so it can open and close its mouth! He has now become a regular dental patient for bathtime, which apparently is what was desired all along?

Durability and kids classic animal figurine toy
Durability is a must when it comes to toys for my kid he tends to be a bit rough and so far this has held up nicely The quality is good doesn't look super fake the paint job is a lot more realistic than some I've seen we've had it for well over a month still plays with it daily so I would recommend not only this one but this brand of similar animals also I like to get things that are typically from the same brand and I've bought quite a few from this one so I highly recommend if you like durability like me.

Hard plastic is like PVC pipe hard.
Great realistic paint job. Looks like a scale model of an alligator rather than a toy. Movable jaw. Hard plastic and heavy - like the kind that will cause injury if thrown and pain if stepped on. Does not float or bend, again hard plastic. 4 stars because it took one throw out of the bathtub onto tile to chip paint off the nose.

Gli animali Schleich sono davvero maestosi: i dettagli sono unici, realistici e curati in ogni minimo particolare. Al tatto si percepisce subito la qualità dei materiali, solidi e resistenti, che li rendono perfetti anche come pezzi da collezione. C’è però un aspetto da considerare: alcuni modelli risultano piuttosto pesanti. Nulla di grave per un adulto, ma se in mano a bimbi piccoli e un po’ vivaci possono diventare “pericolosi” se lanciati durante il gioco. L alligatore in particolare ha anche la punta della coda che risulta un po pericolosa. Nel complesso, sono prodotti eccellenti, che uniscono gioco e realismo. Li consiglio a famiglie con bambini un po’ più grandi o a chi vuole regalare un gioco educativo, resistente e con un fascino unico.

We love this brand! My husband usually orders from the states so I was happy to see it on Amazon. The jaws open like the other Dino’s with this brand so that was cool. Our son loves it as they are so realistic looking and they are very durable. Totally worth the money as the quality is unmatched.
