I do like this shrink wrap. I use it mostly on #4, #2 & 2/0 wire in my solar system and batteries. I tested it on a piece of #4, which is 1/2" thick and it worked really well. (see video and images). I used a heat gun and it shrinks up real nice, doesn't burn or curl up. This is 3/4" diameter shrink wrap and I was really surprised that it shrank all the way down to 1/4". Highly recommended. I purchased this heat shrinking tubing because I wanted to repair the fiberglass handle on a shovel that was worn and shedding fiberglass into the skin in the palms of my hand. This tubing worked fantastically, not only fixed the problem but added years to the usage of my shovel.

This just added more life to my fiberglass shovel, rather than having to go out and buy a new shovel. I was able to wrap the fiberglass handle and get many more years out of my shovel. Very easy to use and take your time and use a heat gun.

I was just looking for a quick roll of red & black shrink tubing to finish off some power cables for my solar installations and snagged these without really looking. I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I put them to use and saw the clear substance like hot-glue-gun glue form a very thin ring at the ends of the connection's tubing. I looked at the inside of an unused section and realized that was effectively what it was! These seal really, really well, forming what I would expect to be a water-tight and very reliable finishing-touch to your custom cable making. Very happy I discovered this stuff, I didn't even know before this that such a hybrid shrink tubing existed. I will definitely be buying more of this stuff! I'd give it 6 stars if I could :)

Good heat shrink, works great. Really sticks!

I am really impressed with the quality of this thing! The addition of glue to seal the entire thing is genius. It shrinks evenly and also it has a good thickness! You won't be afraid to tear it apart like some other brands. Love it!

This did what was stated. It took a little bit more heat to get it to start shrinking. Be careful of what you are trying to cover with this shrink. Other than that it did the job for me just fine.
