Replacement Valve and Membrane Compatible with Medela Breastpumps (Swing, Lactina, Pump in Style), 4X Valves/6x Membranes, Part #87089; Repaces Medela Valve and Medela Membrane

I was not aware when I ordered these that they were not Medela brand; I thought Maymom was just the company selling the Medela product. But know when you order these, they are Maymom brand, not Medela brand sold my Maymom. This is not an issue - just a clarification! They work perfectly on my Medela Pump-In-Style Advanced pump! My order was short the two extra membranes, so that was a bummer, but doesn't affect the quality of the overall product. The valves and membranes come in a plastic container which is great; I have continued to use the container to carry extra valves and membranes in my bag without them floating around in my bag on their own. The only minor frustration with these is that they do not pull off the connector to be washed as easily as the Medela ones; I think it has something to do with the shape of them, but I always seem to struggle just slightly to get them to come off when I am ready to wash my pump parts. Overall, a great product for a less-expensive price - would definetly order this brand again! *UPDATE: I just got an email from the Maymom company and the told me how to make these come off just fine and offered to send me the two membranes I was missing from my set - excellent customer service. I will order these again!!

These replacement parts worked perfectly for my pump and I was glad to see them still available as the pump I use is now quite old. Still functions well with these parts though.

So I am a man and have no clue exactly what you need when you are looking for valves and membranes for a breastpump. That being said I am in charge of putting things together after we get them in the mail. So I will tell you these are awesome. We had a small puppy after our first child and it chewed on everything. It chewed on the valves and even after replacing the membranes we couldn't get any suction. Now that we are having a second child in a month time to get things back out. We were going to buy a totally new unit but then we found these. They are perfect. Plus for the same price as just one of the Medela ones. You would never have a clue this isn't exactly the same. Fits perfect. Great suction and basically a new unit. Been told you should replace the membranes once a month or two and the valves every 3 to 4 so these will make it through this child no problem.

Great cost effective replacement for the Medela branded pump. My only complaint is that they are larger than the Medela brand which isn't a problem unless you are using a non Medela adapter to pump into storage bags such as the Kiinde system. The May mom valves do not allow you to use the Kiinde system. I have to purchase the Medela brand for this use. Also, the May mom valves seem to be much harder to remove from the connectors. You have to wiggle and pull much harder than the Medela brand. Overall though, the May mom valves are a very cost effective option.

I love these there a must! And a need to easy to swap out and work just like the branded ones!!

I love the option of buying pump parts without spending an arm and a leg. These are the 3rd thing I've purchased from Maymom and everything has been awesome quality and fits my pump and parts perfectly. I used these today because my other set molded (oops forgot them when I was off work last week) and I had awesome output, probably needed to replace my membranes anyway. Definitely recommend these!

I like these because they fit and they work properly but my one complaint is that they get stuck. I’ve had to get my husband to help me get them off because they have gotten stuck onto the plastic piece that they go on (sorry I don’t know the technical name of that part). That’s been frustrating so I use them for back up in case the Medela valve membrane breaks again. I keep the extra pump parts in my car with my pump.
