They are very easy to set up and use. Unfortunately, this brand is not very good [Update below], because the dials are stiff, don’t rotate well, and tend to get stuck at a certain time every day, which negates the whole point. I’m going to try to salvage these ones by oiling the mechanism, but it would be better to get a brand that works first time. UPDATE: the brand owner contacted me to say they have found the problem with the mechanical timers and adjusted the supply of parts for future incarnations.
