Quality dog food has become outrageously expensive over the last few years. I feel the zignature brand is THE best deal for a high-quality food. We've tried every flavor of the Zssential dry dog food and they like them all, with the multi-protein appearing to be their favorite. Unlike most dry foods, this food has multiple sources of meat as the first ingredients- turkey, salmon, duck, and lamb. This is a grain-free, chicken-free, corn-free, wheat-free, potato-free, soy-free, and gluten-free food so it's great for dogs with food allergies, skin issues, or sensitivities. It is extremely difficult to find dog food completely free of chicken products. My vet advised us not to feed our dogs grain-free food since it can cause cardiomyopathy and other issues so we add some brown rice to the food. We also add a small amount of the trout wet food to the mix once in awhile and they love that. We've tried all the wet food flavors as a lot well and the trout seems to be their favorite. We often switch between flavors since they become bored of having just 1 flavor of food and this is a great food for that, it doesn't give them diarrhea or stomach issues when switching meats. This food is also made in the USA so I feel safer giving it to my pups. The food can be used for dogs in every stage from pregnancy to puppy to adult. We have 2 huskies and 1 Staffordshire terrier-mix, all 3 are picky eaters but they like this food a lot. Highly recommend the Zignature brand.

Excellent! My dog has lots of skin allergies, can't have pork,chicken, so this was the last protein I saw to try. It's worth the money cause it's working and she eats it...I get the small bits for her.

My dogs were on Zignature for a few years, and after trying a few other brands, we are back to Zignature. The Kangaroo is a protein that my one dog who has a sensitive stomach can handle. I LOVE the small bites & actually think that Zignature should just go ahead and make all of their foods this size. I think the smaller kernel size helps her digest food easier. My dog is about 40 lbs, and my other dog who is 52 lbs has also been switched to the small bites. It's great that it's a limited ingredient food. Its Potato free & does not include Corn (YAY!). My dog had so much trouble with ear infections and after removing potatoes from her diet, her ears cleared up. If your dog has itchy ears, try this to see if it helps. It's hard to find good, quality dog foods that don't use potatoes. Also, worth mentioning is be sure to talk to your vet about daily serving size & how much per day would be right for your dog. I feed less per day of this food verses other brands. For the last brand of food she was on, I would give her 2 cups per day, but with this food, she only needs 1.5 cups. My dogs love the food

The nuggets are small, perfect for my 14lb. Chihuahua Dachshund mix. She recently had dental surgery and the Vet said that her food needed to be soft for at least 2 weeks. I boiled sodium free chicken broth and let her food rest in the broth. Shortly, the nuggets were soft and cool, of course I added egg…and my baby ate her food. I am happy to have found this nutritious food that helps my precious little one with her dietary needs.
