I’ve tried more volumizing products than I can count, and the Redken Root Lifter Volumizing Spray Foam is easily one of my new favorites. I was pleasantly surprised that there’s no sticky or crunchy residue and even better, no build-up after repeated use. Works beautifully on my fine hair, but I can see it being great for all hair types. Easy to apply, great scent, and salon-quality results right at home. This is such a great product. I'm not sure why it's not better reviewed. The container lasted me over a year, so it's a good deal even though it's expensive up front.

I like this product. I bought this product to replace a spray gel that I can no longer find in stock anywhere. This product is a very good product but it's hard for me to use according to the directions. It says to spray foam directly on wet hair at the root but it has a very strong narrow stream that is difficult for me to get where I need it. I have arthritis in my hands so I've lost some dexterity, thus I'm a bit of a dork when it comes to doing hair. This may just be a learning curve for me. I'm used to spraying a little in my hands and then applying to roots of hair. It will work this way too but it has a slightly different result so I'm trying to learn to do it as directed. Most foam products require shaking so I shook this instinctively. Don't make my mistake. Shaking actually causes it to separate and liquefy. The end result is that the product does what it says. It has a nice smell, adds volume, and helps with split ends. It does not weigh hair down or make it stiff or greasy. The only down side for me is the application technique but I doubt this will be a problem for most people. I think this would be easier for me to apply with a long narrow spout that can be poked under hair and a slightly weaker stream. I would buy this product again although it is a little more expensive than I would like to pay.

Back in the day, I used to love Redken Guts, and I’ve been searching for something that delivers similar results for my natural curls. Since I’ve been a straight-hair kind of girl for so long, I wanted something easy that would bring out my natural curls again without the fuss. I’m so glad I found this product again—it absolutely delivers! It gives me beautiful volume, helps reduce frizz, and leaves my curls soft with no crunch. It’s perfect for air drying and works wonderfully on all hair types. I absolutely love it!

I typically use far less expensive beauty items but was "influenced" to buy this. It does it job for the most part, but I did not feel like it was exceptional, or more lifting than other items I use in my hair.

Hair stylist uses this in my hair. Love it before I blow dry and curl my curtain bangs. Crazy volume, even with my fine hair. Does make me hair feel squeaky? When blow drying, but works well.

Great product

It gives volume but after a day, my hair goes flat. It doesn't live up to the promise to maintain volume which is disappointing.

This works just okay. I find that Big Sexy Hair root lifter works much better. This is still an okay product, but, IMO for the money I would not recommend.
