The Best Laid Plans Mass Market Paperback – August 1, 1998

Great book

This book will have your attention from the start. Because there are so many characters you spend sometime trying to keep them straight. It's a good read if you like mysteries. I thought it was going to be a classic love story, but the politics changed things. The mini stories within the book were there to throw you off. It worked, the ending was not what I thought. Good one.

This is an outstanding book that I am enjoying very much!!

Once again, Sidney Sheldon delivers! Whether or not you're a fan of his work, you will be held in a grip with this book. He's always had a way of truly bringing his characters to life and take you on a personal journey with them. Without meaning to, I read this book so fast because that's how good it is drawing you into the lives of power-players that won't stop for anything to reach the top of the power-ladder, no matter who they hurt along the way. A terrific surprise twist towards the end.....you won't be disappointed!!

Well, there's plenty of mystery and suspense and excitement, so what builds on the reader's mind is "How on earth is this all going to turn out?" Then it's all resolved in an unbelievable way and you think, " Why did I waste my time reading this fairy tale ? " Too bad.

Sidney Sheldon obviously knew his way around Washington and the political games that are played. This novel actually has three main characters and is a page turner to the end. A great read.

I had not read this one. I got it on cassette for the car. Really enjoyed it.. If you have not read this one by Sidney Sheldon, I think you will enjoy. Fun political read.

I am a huge fan of Sidney Sheldon (have read all his books - even the ones written after his death) and this book, like all his others was an excellent read - from page 1 to the very end. Which never takes very long with a S Sheldon book because they are hard to put down once you get started. Loved this book and all his other.
