Great price, very functional, i have 3 that run reptile or aquarium enclosures and have never had a problem. Timer works great. The one bad review with the half melted plug is a sure sign of using a high amperage appliance

Works exactly as described. The instructions are clear and complete (one person complained that the instructions don't explain how to switch to Auto Off but it does). I had it programmed in less than 10 minutes. This power strip is silent, heavy-duty, and everything works perfectly. I am shocked at how easy this was to program (just don't lose the instructions)!

Set up was easy. So far working well. Heavy well made unit.

This would have been 5 stars HOWEVER the enclosed instructions failed to explain how to move to AUTO OFF! A sentence stating hold the manual button down until Auto showed on the screen would have been very helpful. It is now working wonderfully after much unnecessary frustration.

I have been using this timer successfully for 5 seasons. I use it for my plant seedling grow lights in the winter/spring. I had some difficulty setting it up at the beginning but did manage to get it going successfully. Thus, I just used it as a single timer to turn lights off and on once a day, and the fans going constantly attached to the untimed sockets. So far, so good. I recently decided to grow some plants over the winter with a different timing program. This is where the issues began. While this timer apparently allows for 8 timing programs, I found it impossible to use an additional program. I read the directions multiple times, watched videos, asked Ai, etc. Not only could I not get a second program to work, it totally messed up the original program and I could not figure out how to get the timer to work at all. I eventually, followed the suggestion of one YouTube video and cleared and reset the whole damn thing. Then I set up one program for my current need and called it quits once it worked. I will just change that single program as needed. I don't know why this company goes to the trouble to create multiple timing programs, but can not adequately explain how to get them to work. It is certainly not intuitive, if it indeed works at all. Might as well just get a mechanical timer and avoid the frustration. Makes no sense.

Using this to turn basking lamp on and off for my grandson’s turtle. I readily admit that I am a visual learner so written instructions don’t always work for me. With just a small error on my part, I got this to do exactly what I wanted it to. Seems to be well made.

This thing is great and works well the clock is on a battery so when setting it you can sit comfortably, if it comes unplugged the times set will stay I had a little trouble figuring out how to put it into auto mode but it was simple (just held the auto/manual button for a few secconds and auto poped up) and it's been working like a charm since

I use it to turn off they internet at night so my kids can sneak on their devices. It cuts the power to the modem at 12 and it comes back on at 5 am. The other side of the bar does not turn off allowing me to power other devices 24/7.
