I purchased this Hy-Tape Pink Tape to cover my new abdominoplasty "tummy tuck" incision to protect my scar from the UV rays while tanning. It works and stays on well, even when wet. It has occasionally left some sticky residue on my skin when I have left it on for an extended period. I found the best way to remove the residue is with Goo Gone. I then thoroughly wash this area with isopropyl alcohol. The price I paid ordering from Amazon was less than what I have paid ordering directly from the manufacturer which I have done in the past. The only difference between the two was Hy-Tape ships the spools of tape in three individual boxes whereas with Amazon I received three individual spools of Hy-Tape in a transparent plastic bag with no boxes. That seems like the only difference which I could care less about having it in three individual boxes. I also recently had a posterior lift so I am going to go through these rolls fast when I start tanning again.

I know that “tape” won’t save me from a weak ostomy seal but I ado use it to help secure the ostomy flange. This is the best tape and I recommend it for folks with an ostomy as long as you don’t have a great deal of skin breakdown or irritation. Love it! Will always try to have it on hand!

Have been using this tape for years and recommending to other ostomy patients. The last order was totally different. It came in irregular roles that were not cut properly, appeared to have been subjected to heat and was deformed , was sticky on outer surfaces and yet did not seal well to skin. It was also much more difficult to remove and required large amounts of solvent to remove from skin. Apparently, the manufacturer has big problems on their production lines which need to be fixed ASAP.

Good for area in need, but too pricey.

Ordered was multiple rolls..one roll just fine, should be a 5, but one roll was wound incorrectly and was a complete sticky mess. Time had passed to return and too darn expensive to throw out! Trying to " make do" for wound care.
