Excellent upgrade — works great and looks high quality!
This seal is a huge improvement over the standard one. I included before-and-after photos and only ordered the seal (not the track). The quality is immediately noticeable, and once installed, it seals much better than the original. Installation was fairly easy. My door is 10 feet wide and I ordered the exact length with no extra, and it took about an hour total. You slowly feed the seal into the rail while pulling from the other side. The last 12 inches were a bit stubborn, and having a second person would definitely make it easier. Just be careful not to let the rubber slip out of one side of the rail, or you’ll have to start over. One important tip: because this seal is thicker than the factory seal, you may need to adjust your garage door’s force limit. My door would close and then immediately reopen until I made that adjustment. Overall, very happy with this purchase. Great quality, noticeable improvement, and well worth it!

👍
I’ve been using this garage door bottom rubber seal for two years, and the quality is still very good. It holds up well against weather and daily use without cracking or wearing out. It fits properly, seals tightly, and helps keep out water, dust, and cold air. Overall, very durable and reliable. I’m satisfied with the purchase

Great price for great quality
I installed this alone. It was extremely tough. Mainly because it was cold outside and the seal cooled off and hardened quickly when the garage door was opened. I used a large heavy duty pully and a rope that one end was clamped to the seal. This allowed me to pull the seal away from me as I formed and guided the seal into the two grooves on the door bottom with the hand not pulling the rope. It was difficult and the seal missed the grooves far too often and had to be pulled back to begin inching forward again. Near the end of the track, at the far end from the feed end, I would stop pulling and go physically pulling the seal to release the stuck sections and help the feeding. Pulling until it wouldn't move any more, then go back to pulling the rope and forming and pushing the seal at the feed end. So going back to the far end to grab the seal and pull it and to the feed end and pull the rope, form/feed the seal. I spent an hour slowly inching the seal into place. In total it took about two hours. Incidently, removal of the old seal was very easy.

Ease of installation
Ok so first let me say that I love the material. Nice and thick and it should perform well. It hasn’t rained yet water retention is a non factor at the moment. The one aspect I need to address is the installation because it is not as easy as sliding it in the track. It takes two people to do that definitely. I found an easier way to install this and starts with one edge and a plastic paint scrapper. My arms got tired but I did it by myself and cutting to trim was easy. So far I think it was a good purchase and I can’t wait for the rain.

Very solid and well constructed door seal...
Very solid and well constructed door seal...like many others, I was concerned with the seal received coiled up, but I laid them both out in the sun in the driveway for 45mins to an hour and all the indentations came out and it laid flat like a champ (see the attached pictures, the one on the left I put out first as a test run...the one on the right is what they both looked like after uncoiling. Then there's a second picture showing both after being in the sun)...I was very pleased with the results. The other thing that was concerning was the direction of the inner tube section. I kept a piece of the completed seal that was cut off from the ends after installation and noticed that the inner tube section had a different direction lean to it depending on which side view you're look at it. The concern was, does this direction lean have any effect on sealing and keeping the elements out. See pictures for reference, left view and right view. I had water infiltration before the new seal install, and after the replacement install, l have small appearances of light showing under my garage door at different points and have made door adjustments that will not totally get rid of them (but minimized them). So maybe it's imperfections in the concrete or could it be the direction of the inner tube section that is playing a part in this (see attached pictures of before and after door adjustment). AND I WILL NOT be taking the seal back off to install differently to see. This was not that easy to put on, even with two people, It kept coming out of the tracks at different points of sliding it on...and you really have to make sure that both sides of the "T" seal lips are firmly installed in the tracks groove or the seal will fall out of the tracks after opening and closing the garage door. I HIGHLY recommend having two people to install this. Be sure to clean the tracks out with a brush, repair any imperfections and apply lubricant as needed however, lubricant may work against you by allowing the seal to easily slide out as well. I even took the seal mounting rail off the garage door and laid it across saw horses to see if it would work any easier on the seal installation...the vote is still out on that, seeing that I have another 16 foot seal to install on my other second door. Some may consider this a mix review for leaving 5-stars, but I took a lot into consideration before pointing at the manufacture/seller as the issue for some of my woes because overall, these are a great upgrade and replacement seals with the addition of the inner tube section. Seems to be made of great quality and very solid construction. I don't believe the difficulty of putting the seal on is a manufacturing issue, you just have to be patient and pay attention when installing. I definitely would purchase these again in the future. I hope this long review helps someone out there.

I would by this door seal again!
Very Nice weather strip for my garage door. Easy to install. Easy to cut and a perfect fit. I'll have to wait until it rains again to see how it performs, but I'm confident this will keep the water out. Make sure you don't cut it too short - cut it a little wider than the door so you don't end up with a gap at the edges.

Great replacement
Works great on my 16’ door! Easy to cut, and the seal is fantastic. Temperature hasn’t seemed to affect it much yet. My old one was flat as a pancake and leaked water when it was rainy and windy. It wasn’t very easy to install though.

Works great and looks fantastic once installed... but to install it you need 2 people. Your track needs to be cleaned and clear of debris so use a utlility knife or screwdriver then a shop vac if you have one, then when putting the new seal in put warm water and dishsoap and maintain consistent tension and you put and as the other person feeds it into the track. You'll get dimples if it's jammed, so keep pulling and pushing for those to be fixed.
