Great Tasting + A GREAT BUZZ
This is a really great coffee and for some reason I can taste a hint of Chocolate when I drink it, Also Its not harsh nor is it acidly, so its not hard on your stomach, But man does it give you a GOOD BUZZ. I purchased this in a whole bean along with a bag of Cafe Britt Dark Roast, These two are the top brands that everyone who visits Costa Rica rave about and you can purchase in the super markets down there, Cafe Britt is suppose to be the #1 top selling coffee that the locals drink down there.

Smooth tasting coffee
I love this Costa Rica coffee, I have gone to Costa Rica Nov/2014 and the coffee was fabulous. Very smooth and no bitter taste at all. Glad I found this coffee that I could get it here in the US.

First drank it when I was in Costa Rica
... and it has been my favorite ever since. Very smooth and never bitter - even if you make it strong as I prefer it. Well worth the extra expense.

Tasted Old!
My husband and I were married in Costa Rica and the coffee was AMAZING! We are both black coffee snobs/lovers. I was excited to order this bag of coffee for our anniversary. We returned it immediately because it tasted awful and old. Like it had been sitting on a shelf for 10 years. We couldn't finish one cup. It was sad. Great coffee, just probably sits in a warehouse too long.

Wonderful coffee in a perfect size for the coffee lover. This coffee is low in acidity and is so smooth and yummy. Divine! The terroir of Costa Rica makes for great coffee.

This is a very dark version of a medium roast, to my taste. It is a quality coffee but roasted to a darker roast than I would prefer.

Really nice coffee! Its a dark roast and for those who like a strong but smooth coffee. Depending on what brewing process you use it can take a while to get the settings right. It requires very course grind setting to not get bitter. Once you get it right its delicious.
