Nice foot warmer
Nice little foot warmer. Doesn't get overly warm, but warm enough for me! 3 heat settings, switches itself off after so long.

Really effective
My use: I get freezing cold feet (especially toes) both at home and at work. I've previously tried heated socks but these have been uncomfortable - too tight and you can feel the wires and battery packs, let-alone the fact that mine were faulty and the socks often cost more than these alternatives (approx £50-£80). Also slippers just don't cut it, especially this time of year (November 2023). Price: £38 not on offer seemed quite expensive and I'd be surprised if certain German supermarkets don't come up with a cheaper version priced for £20-£30, however I have other Beurer products like their heat pads which I rate. That said, I couldn't beat the price delivered elsewhere online. Comfort: The material is padded (less than 1cm) but looks like good quality - the same material as the heated pads they use and you can feel the heat on the outside but not the heat is never hot enough to burn yourself like you might with a hot water bottle. It has a thinnish sheeps wool lining which does provide some comfort and warmth. You can feel the seam in the fleecy lining in the middle (between your feet) but it's not so apparent that it's uncomfortable. The lining is separate so the top can overhang the top of the boot and move about slightly. This is obviously so that the lining can be washed to keep the item clean (inside). I often raise my feet off the cold floor in a recliner chair and also have a blanket over the top of me. This helps as if the rest of your body is warm then it's easier to keep warm, however having the boot on the floor lets you feel the heat more. *Because of this I think it would help to have a more padded bottom so you don't feel the floor as easily. Maybe give it a rubber bottom and add some padding between this and the material to avoid shielding the foot from heat. Heat: Other have complained that they feel no heat - I would send back possibly as it might be faulty as I have found this to be great. Yes level 3 is the best, but my feet get so warm in this that I have to turn it down at times (not burning hot, just overly warm). It heats up very quickly and seems to come from all directions (mainly the bottom and the top) which is especially good for warming your toes. Size: Roomy enough for even the biggest feet (unless you're over size 11 I would guess). I'm a male size 9 and have no problems. I can slide my feet side to side and forwards and backwards with at least 1" in every direction which will help warm them further with the fleecy lining. There is enough room above my foot because of the boot-like design. Whilst it helps if I raise my toe area inside the boot to get the most from the heat, I think if it were a tighter fit it would be uncomfortable for people with bigger feet etc. Lead: Length is easily long enough for me with a plug near the side of my recliner chair. The leads comes from the centre of the back of the boot so can run either side. Unlike the beurer pads this is wired directly and cannot be unplugged, other than from the socket itself. 47cm to the controller and over 1m to the plug. Controller: This is the same as beurer's other products, robust, easy to use, lights up the number in use. Turns off after a length of time and you just switch to 0 and back up to 3 or whatever number and it starts heating again. Overall: Although there are some cheaper brands out there which may do a similar job, I would recommend this product and I still trust beurer more. If these drop in price I'll get another for my mum. If you find this review helpful then please *like*.

Does the job
Purchased for my wife who suffers from cold feet, probably circulation problems, even after a short trial, she was pleased with it. Given on. A baby-sitting evening, the grandchildren gave it the thumbs up too. I would have given it five stars but it is not as hot as I was expecting but there is probably a good reason for that. So far, so good, she likes it and the cold feet have been banished. Although we have not had to wash it, the inner sleeve comes out and can be machine washed. Wearing think a socks would alleviate any need to wash. A simple, cost-effective solution to one of those annoying issues. Worth the small investment for her to feel comfortable..

Nice and warm
Nice and warm. I had to turn it to setting 2 to be comfortable, as 3 was getting too warm. It does switch off after 90 mins, but just let it cool down for a few minutes and restart it. Definitely recommend.

Foot warmer for those with chronically hot feet
Utterly useless and has nothing to do with a 'warmer', seeing as it hardly warms up at all. I don't think this is due to any defect, because yes, after an hour, it's true I can feel a sliver of heat coming from the thing. I would be amazed if said heat managed to warm my feet by 2°c. Anyhow, if my feet were only one or two degrees from cosy warmth, I wouldn't have gone to the bother of spending thirty quid on a foot warmer to begin with. I have perpetually cold feet when I'm sat for work, but no diabetes or anything, just probably supbar circulation. I was hoping that this foot warmer would do the trick, seeing as I've a Beurer mattress heater and it's quite cosy, but I'm very disappointed. Visually it does look very good and it's very nice to touch, and I like the fact that it's structured enough to stay upright on its own. The material is fleecy and cosy inside and seems like it should retain heat well. The number on the remote glows dimly when it's on and flashes when it's hit the time limit, which is a little hard to see in a bright room, but not terrible. But none of this really matters if it doesn't get hot, which it doesn't. I turned it to max for an hour to check and stuck my hand in, and it felt cool to the touch. I suppose that makes it very safe.

Keeps your feet nice and toasty
These warmers are excellent for the colder evenings. The inserts are warm and comfy, and the warmer keeps your feet nice and toasty. I use mine when sitting in my armchair and watching TV in the evening. It is also useful if you are sitting in an online meeting on your PC. It does have three heat settings, but I find I always use the hottest level.

Not so warm foot warmer
The Beurer FW20UK Cosy Foot Warmer doesn't quite live up to its name. Although the foot warmer has three heat settings, there was little descendible difference between the lowest to highest heat setting. I found that even on the highest, the foot warmer gave off very little heat. Having used it 4 evenings in a row, I found the foot warmer took on average 3 hours to warm my feet up to a point where I felt my feet were warm. The foot warmer was also uneven with the heat distribution, with the right side warmer than the right. I appreciate that warm feet is a subjective matter, and yes, I do suffer from really poor circulation hence the need for a foot warmer, but three hours is just too long. There was nothing intrinsically wrong with the foot warmer, it just didn't have the adequate power to warm my feet in a shorter time frame. I'd guess its 20W power rating just isn't enough. I returned it as unfit for purpose.
