The dog toy itself appears well made, however, no matter what you do or where you place it, it will not suction for longer than 1 to 2 minutes and then comes loose. I have tried it on linoleum, tile, and hardwood. I have cleaned and prepped both surfaces and to no avail. I tried dampening the suction mechanism and my 2 pound Yorkie comes walking with it in around 2 minutes. I would say pass and save your money. Nice concept but not worth the money. (Laminate wooden floors)Secondly, I have an English Bull Terrier to give you an idea. He got smacked once in the face and after that he knew how to “win.” He wouldn’t tug at the ball. Instead he would go right at the base where it suction cups and pick it up. Wasn’t worth the money because it did not suction cup and my dog wouldn’t play with the ball and tug with it. He would just go for the base and run away with it.
