This sling might be a little "pricey" as compared to other slings listed on amazon and elsewhere, but what you get is the highest quality AK sling available. This sling is rugged as all get out and built as tough as your AK if not tougher. The feel of the sling is similar to your typical Russian milsurp Mosin Nagant sling. It has the same feel and is built nearly identical with the exception of the clip on the end.Speaking of the clip, it's made of steel, and quality rivets, no plastic crap here. This thing is built to last forever and I certainly believe it will. I've had mine attached for months and had it at the range and in the woods probably 100 times and it's yet to fail me. Does what it's supposed to without any failures. Sure, it's not really "tactical" but if you want a high quality sling that does what it's supposed to every time and will for years to come, buy this sling.I've owned all kinds of cheapie slings that have either come apart or torn. This one keeps on keeping on. I love it. Top notch craftsmanship and quality (what else do you expect from Arsenal anyways?)This is currently attached to a 74 with KVAR US made Russian style Warsaw style stock set. May not work for underfolders (duh) or some side folders. Kinda tricky to install but there are youtube videos available that show you how.

The reason I chose this item was because of the snap-ring at the end which also proved to be a pain when attaching it. I'd have liked it better if the hardware were subdued and the snap-ring was a wee bit smaller. However everything turned out okay and it went on without too much trouble.

This is a really nice sling that is pretty close to the original Russian military slings for the SKS and AK rifles. Unlike the Chinese or Yugoslav slings that attach front and back with leather straps, this one has a metal swivel clip at the front. The metal parts have a cheap greenish yellow gold plating, but that is how the real ones were. You could paint them black if you wanted. They do sort of rattle around with the metal clip, but again that is how the original Russian Army ones were. You do need to sort of disassemble and reassemble the sling to fit it to your rifle so you might want to look at an online installation video if you have any doubts as to how it goes. Can't beat the price, either.

Single-point sling when I was looking for a two-point sling. Doesn't say anything about its type. Therefore can't really use.

This thing is built like a tank! Everything about it is top notch quality from the gorgeous green canvas material to the rock solid connectors and attachments. The metal clips are so strong that you will need needle nose pliers to attach the sling. There is an excellent video on youtube giving detailed step by step instructions on how to properly install the sling to your ak. This is the best 2 point sling you can purchase.

Ordered because my WASR 10/63 didn't come with a sling. Looks great, fits great, highly adjustable. OD green adds to the rough, authentic military look.

Received my sling yesterday and couldn't be happier! This is a quality heavy duty sling that does not disappoint. I should have bought this the first time instead of going a cheaper route and getting a knock off. It's just solid all the way around and looks great on my Arsenal AK. If you are on the fence about spending the money on it? Do it! You won't regret it.
