Outdoor Siren WiFi Home Alarm Security System

I have had this alarm installed for just over a week now after a break in. The system itself is very good and comes to you with all the various items already linked to the hub. The written instructions are not great. I’m still quite tech savvy but this took a lot of re-reading and trial and error. I stay away quite often and the functionality of the app is great. You can arm dis-arm etc through the app or use the remotes. The range on the remotes is good and works from way outside my house. I have used a giff gaff pay as you go sim and that all works well it texts me when alarm is activated etc as does the email setting. Phone call function from host unit is noisy and fuzzy but does work. I don’t think this affects the product for me as it’s not a function I really require but could be better. For the price it’s great and love that it’s all wireless and the alarm bell is solar powered. The only plug in item is the host keypad which also has battery backup so power cuts are not an issue. Very good product. Everything was setup i.e. all the sensors, remote controlls and the wireless siren were connected to the main unit. Followed the instructions inserted sim card and it works as advertised. The wireless siren has anti tamper so if lifted from its base it starts alarming. Main thing to be aware is it ships as two packages and the second one took ages. However the seller is excellent at communicating and I think they would resolve any problems. To be determined how long it lasts but right now it is excellent value for money. I would recommend but bear in mind possibly long shipping times so not if you need this in a rush (mine took 1.5 months ish shipping to Cyprus).

Brought for my mother her windows were smashed by some little thugs. My mother has just turnt 50 and is capable of using Netflix. she found the installation difficult (the start up code is 123,123 enter) and called me for help I was able to talk her through the setup, all attachments connect automatically once the control panel is connected to the WiFi. After that it just takes a little time to get use to her words and now is competent and very happy knowing there is a warning system that would wake a street up if needed. (Very loud and bright flashing police beacon) For my own reassurance this was incredibly good value for money and any with kids under 35 they will have this working within the hour.

On the face of it this is a nice looking Home Alarm system. Nice looking wall mount interface control panel, suppled with a quality wireless (and weather proof sealed) Bell-box/ Siren, and plenty of keyfobs etc. You get alot of kit in the package. Despite the poorly written user manual - you can get all basic functions up and working okay into a working Home Alarm system. So on value for money I suppose it is up there. But, trying to get it work with GSM / Mobile phone alerts I have found to be a nightmare - and in fact have still not succeeded since June 22. Vendor says it can only accept 2G SIM network.....yet fitted with a 2G/3G/4G compatible SIM card still doesnt work. So at the end of the day (like other reviews have stated)....you only end up with half the functionality you intended to purchase. So moral of the story is - if you just want an alarm its good, but if you wanted GSM & mobile alerting etc.....go for a better known brand!

Great quality alarm, had it 4 months. Easy to install and very loudly. You get the notifications on you mobile phone.

Installation manual doesn't cover troubleshooting and no way to contact Wolf-Guard for after sale support on queries - the 'contact us' link on their website doesn't work.

I would have given this 5 stars except for 2 reasons : 1. 2 of the remote controls did not work as expected. 2 were fine of the 4 supplied but the other two would not seem /disarm the system as expected no matter how many times I deleted and de-registered / re-registered the remotes. 2. I tried contacting support via Twitter and two of the email addresses supplied. After 1 week de-registered nobody had replied to any communication. Therefore support is useless even though within the packaging it seems to imply that support will help as much as they can.

The mains cable for the main panel is far too short. If used, the unit would only be 2ft from the floor. It needs a 3ft USB extension cable. Also an external charge point would be good to charge from mains with the alarm in situ if sun not enough.

Très bon système d'alarme et complet. Pris avec détecteur pour animaux, très efficace et intuitif dans l'installation. De plus le contact avec le service support est très rapide. J'y ai également ajouté des détecteurs de vibration des vitres sur baie vitrée et cela est vraiment très efficace. Seul inconvénient je ne peux plus utiliser la fonction ''porte non fermée'' car sur ces détecteurs il n'y a pas d'aimants et pas de possibilité de modifier l'attribution de type d'appareil.

Ottimo prodotto, semplice anche da installare. Sirena esterna potente. Ho già ordinato un altro sensore di movimento per altra zona della casa e cosa importante, anche con inserimento totale non rileva i miei cani ( uno è taglia media 11 kg ). Fatto tutte le prove del caso, i sensori di movimento e delle finestre funzionano molto bene. In conclusione, il prodotto è buono e non costa una fortuna. Lavora benissimo

La alarma lleva 5 años instalada en una vivienda aislada y conectada a una instalación solar de 12V, sin ningún problema de funcionamiento. Cumple a la perfección con su función de alertar a través del móvil de cualquier incidencia que se ha producido en la vivienda. El costo anual que ha tenido es de 6 euros (tarjeta SIM y baterías de los mecanismos). Excelente.
