Bought it to use on 5 gallons water bottles and this little device has really made my life easy!I charged it first time on 12/25/20 and second time just now 03/22/2021. Considering that I am using it daily, it's a good time frame between charges. Very easy to use. Also, the device stops pumping after about half gallon, which I found to be a great feature as well. Highly recommend it for purchase.

The pump comes with 2 gaskets to be used with non standard water bottles. Wholefoods uses screw on cap type of bottles where another pump i have does not work. The only problem i encountered is after the first change of bottles (to a regular bottle) i have no clue where the gasket went and now I'm back to a flimsy unit when i use a wholefoods bottle!! it's not the pump's fault, it's my fault for miss placing it. Maybe have it built in, like a collar that can adjust with a turn key adjustment to increase/decease the diameter of the inside ring? just an idea, but great product.

5/20/20 - I changed my review because the buyers replaced my broken one. Thank-you very much.5/5/20 - Now it does not dispense of water anymore. I have charged it for hours; the top light turns green but no motor sounds.4/20/20 - 4 months after use the white plastic part that holds the metal tube in place is broken and no longer holds tube in place. Bummed.12/2019 - i got this as a temporary solution to a water cooler dispenser. As of now have decided to continue to use because it's so simple and inexpensive.

UPDATE:We’ve had this for a little over a year. The black attachment into which the spout inserts on the outside has broken off. Can’t be reattached because the plastic piece broke. Because my family are Neanderthals and break stuff. So it’s not the pump’s fault.But it would be cool if it was Neanderthal proof.ORIGINAL (MAY 2020):Works as described. Charged once and it lasted several days and is still running strong.Tube is easy to remove and clean.Highly recommend.

It was a little difficult trying to find a dispenser for a screw top jug. I recently bought a 5 gallon jug, however it was not like the picture shown for a 5 gallon because mine was more narrow and taller. So in my case, I had to purchase a food grade hose from the store 'not expensive'... but I needed to make sure the hose for this dispenser sent in the package, was CLOSE in tubing size I bought from the store (this is important for the hose to connect to the dispenser). I did have to cut the hose I bought from the store to fit the dispenser, but other than that... I was able to get the dispenser fully charged and it WORKS. I do RECOMMENDED for a screw top jug!

After several months of use, I have decided this item was a waste of money for a number of reasons. Number one, the water dispenses so slowly that it takes triple the time to fill up an 8oz cup of water. Filling up a water bottle takes forrrreeeevvvvvvveeerrr. The spout doesn’t attach securely and is easily leaks or can be knocked off completely. The dispenser is cheap and bulky and if it were a couple inches shorter it would be ideal. I had hopes that my 3 gallon water bottle would be able to fit on the counter under my kitchen cabinets. It was about 2 inches too tall, but I continued using it as I really wanted the water bottle upright. The dispenser is capable of charging while in use. However, the charging cord provided is so short that you have to completely remove the dispenser from the water bottle. It’s a very awkward thing to try and charge and unless you want to remove the long silicone tubing (which is very difficult) it will be exposed on the counter or charging area which I feel is unsanitary as I’d prefer to keep it in the water bottle. Sadly I will be going back to flipping the water bottle and using the non electric dispenser.

UPDATE #2: After long conversation with manufacturer they covered return and got me a new item, new one did work much better, quieter, old one sent back for QA and tests, seems like I got a bad unit. Day and night difference between new and old one. Impressed by customer service, I really thought it will be a dead end in my case with wasted $20, but they did a great job.UPDATE: pump is dead after 3 months, it is malfunctioning, button that turns on and off pump no longer works properly (need to press it 5-6 times rapidly to make it work), hose keeps disconnecting. We use it daily for our water needs, charge it once every few days and always keep it clean. Product is bad.ORIGINAL REVIEW: loud and very slow, takes forever to fill electric kettle

This was a first time purchase for a product like this. I felt like it was money well spent. I had a few chuckles out of friends when I put it together, but after they used it once, everyone agreed this was a great purchase. We only used 5 gallons of water and the charge did not run out, so I don’t know exactly how long the charge lasts. It was very easy to assemble and to use. Would I recommend this, yes! It made filling up bottled water very easy. The only down side I found was the noise level. It wasn’t load and actually wasn’t even that loud, but it was louder than I expected. All in all, a must buy.
