so I wanted to switch to a bar soap to reduce my plastic use, this was so cheap that I decided to try it. I judge my shampoo on only 2 things If its cruelty free and if people give me complements on my hair. This is great it actually leaves my hair feeling cleaner, and it gets greasy less fast, my hair feel soft, scent is nice, using it is kinda weird, since its bar soap and it feels starchy, but everything works out fine and it lathers well. my hair is more curly than wavy, and if I use products with too much junk in them they weigh down my hair and my curls, so I love this shampoo because they make my curls springy and light, lasts pretty long, I have long hair and I feel like 1 bar will last me about a month and a half. I love this shampoo.

I've always wanted to try a shampoo bar and being familiar with this brand, ordered it. It's both a shampoo and conditioner. I have dry older gray hair and it's thinning. This bar has made my hair thicker and SO luxurious! I realize it was the ingredients in liquid shampoos that have made my hair thinner. This shampoo bar is AMAZING and smells so good. Coconut and flowers. It's hard and is lasting a long time. I've had it over a week and I use it daily. No more bottles and don't need conditioner. I LOVE THIS!! I'm be purchasing again and again. I wish there were other scents and types to try. LOVE LOVE LOVE

I have been trying to reduce my plastic waste, which has sent me on a mission to find a good solid shampoo and conditioner. I've used and liked this brands bottled shampoo and conditioner. Plus it was claiming to be 2 in1, and the price couldn't be beat. I have fine hair, but I have a lot of it. It's mostly straight with just a little bit of wave to it. I don't have an oily scalp, and my hair doesn't really get too dry. When I keep it short I don't generally need to use a conditioner. Currently it's just past my shoulders and definitely needs a little added moisture to keep it from getting frizzy looking. I usually wash it twice a week. This shsmpoo bar has a very light floral coconut fragrance that suited me just fine. It doesn't take much product to work up a nice lather. I get it wet, give it a few swipes down the length of my hair, Rubio between my hands a couple of times, and that's enough to get my hair clean. I've been using it a couple of months and have barely made a dent in it, so it's definitely economical. The lather does feel very ritch and moisturizing. I can even run my fingers through my hair while I'm washing it and after rinsing with no trouble, which I definitely cannot do with just shampoo alone. I did find that I needed to use a separate conditioner afterward, however, so it didn't work as a 2 in 1 product for me. If your hair doesn't need a lot of added moisture, you may be able to use this product on its own. This does leave my hair looking very shiny, and I do have more volume, which I appreciate. This almost checks all my boxes, and I thought at first it was going to be a winner. But I do have one complaint, and it will probably end up being the reason I don't repurchase this shampoo bar. After about a month and a half of use I noticed that I was getting a lot of product buildup on my hair. I don't use styling products very often, so it was definitely the shampoo. It was making my hair look limp after washing, which defeats the purpose of a shampoo called volume and bounty. After washing with a clarifying shampoo it worked as well as ever, but I don't want to have to use a clarifying shampoo. Still for the price its worth a try. Who knows maybe I have hard water or something. I definitely don't regret trying it.

I chose this product after reading a multitude of reviews on similar products. I was skeptical of a bar’s ability to clean and condition. I was tired though of plastic bottles. I have long, fine, highlighted hair that tangles when you look at it. I’ve been using the Love Beauty and Planet bar for two months. I love it. Just a small amount of soap produces an abundance of suds. My hair feels squeaky clean and I do believe it increases the volume. It does not lie flat to my head. I found I must brush through my hair thoroughly before washing. Most days I can get a wet comb through it but sometimes I use It’s a 10 leave in conditioner to detangle it. I store it in a shell box. I still have a lot of bar left. Seems I’ve only barely reduced the size. I have no plans to return to bottled shampoo. UPDATE: It’s been seven months!! I’m almost to the end, and I wash my hair 5-7 times a week! My hair is soft but I still occasionally need to use It’s a Ten as a detangler, especially if I have had it in a ponytail for running, or worn a sweater(matting). I am not going back to bottles!

I really wanted to love this bar. I feel like 3 stars is pretty generous. This smells great & does technically coat & wash my hair. But, it is by no means a 2 in 1 bar. I have oily hair & need to wash it daily. This completely strips the hair leaves my hair feeling like absolute straw, so I cannot imagine what it does to someone with drier hair than me. The worst part is it instantly disintegrates & gets very mushy. So, I don't think it will last long, either. Its a pass for me...

The heart shape lathers so much in my hair that it generally makes my hair so clean and shiny! The coconut smell is really good as it is being added to your wet hair or rinsing it out. It makes washing my hair so easy to wash and dry in the shower or in the sink. After I found it at a big box store, I went to get it again and they had stopped carrying it. I have only purchased it from Amazon. I highly recommend this shampoo! 💜🌺🦋
