Perfect Stand for my Needs
This is well built and is a great stand for my acoustic guitar. I don't gig any more so mine stays set up all the time. I think would be a good stand for gigs because it folds up very small. I do think, however, your guitar could tip if bumped since it only supports the bottom. Absolutely perfect for my needs.

Sturdy, can fit a guitar that's in its case better than several others I've tried.
Sturdy and quick to put together. I use stands like these to keep my in-case guitars off the cold floors in winter. Compared to putting just a guitar on the stand, putting the guitar in the case and then putting the case in the stand puts more potentially destabilizing top weight on the stand. Although not very high, this stand will hold my LBG30 in its 6.75 inch wide case without any slippage on the arms, and it's stable!

Easy to assemble and gets the job done
The stand was super easy to assemble and seems strudy enough. The wood finish looks better than the black metal tube style. It supports my acoustic guitar just fine.

Nice looking wood, light but sturdy & locking mechanism
I inherited my late uncle's banjo from a fire. I wanted a small, portable, foldable option for my apartment. I thought wood close to the same color would be nice. Saw this on lightening deal. It came unassembled neatly protected in a box. Everything looked in good condition as I checked each piece. Things to be aware: 1) Be patient when screwing in the feet making sure to keep them angled and seated in the groove while slowly working in the screw straight with the hex tool. 2) the bolt of the foam rests IS long enough...push back the foam at the bolt and you will find more bolt. 3) the locking brace will bite you .....push down gently on the center part until it clicks to lock. When closing, push up on the center of the brace just a little then put both hands on the outside of the legs and gently push together....make sure your thumbs are not holding the inside of the legs like I did 😜. Great for what I need and doesn't take up much space. The rest can be adjusted to your instrument body size. Don't expect a heavy wood it's meant to be light. If you want a heavy duty, secure stand you should look at other options. 😉 I will use a velcro cable tie to secure if needed. My bango is in a baking soda and charcoal deodorizing session right now. Will post a pick of it enjoying it's new resting spot when I finish the cleaning and defunking process. UPDATE: FINALLY FINISHED TAKING APART, CLEANING AND PUTTING THE BANJO BACK TOGETHER AND SET IT ON THE STAND AND IT'S PERFECT DOES NOT ROCK OR GET OFF BALANCE IT'S PERFECT FOR A BANJO AND I FEEL VERY CONFIDENT WITH IT'S STURDINESS!💯

Inexpensive and sturdy good for a Dreadnaught sized guitar
This is pretty good and relatively sturdy. It does not have much to protect the neck and really needs the weight of a sturdy banjo or guitar to be as secure as you want an instrument. Still, it is big and dependable and relatively easy to carry around and inexpensive. I find stands like this work well both in the house and outside. I play old time banjo and guitar and many old time jams and musical get togethers both big time national or regional gatherings as well as friendly get togethers of pals take place outside in parks, or back yards or wherever. This is pretty good for that, but for larger instruments whose weight is going to make this thing steady!
