Simple Inexpensive Radio👍
Works as expected. No complaints. Clear sound. Compact form factor without being too big or too small. No Bluetooth. A good shop radio.

Outstanding Radio
Very pleased with this radio! The sound is excellent. It has two speaker tone settings ( high and low ) that actual work and make a big difference in allowing you to select the tone quality you prefer. Also, unlike other radios, the antenna works well when you’re trying to locate a stronger signal. Plus, the battery life is excellent. Overall, this is a very good radio and very reasonably priced.

Low price, radio plays. Real simple.
My quest for a crackly old stereo must go on, this is "high fidelity" compared to the specific, old tinny sound I want. It sounds like an average shop radio, not much extra going on, 5 stars for being fairly junky at a fairly junky price. It is a good value if you consider it like that. No extra wires to go bad, turns on fine, all knobs work and feel fine. Picks up really well.

Pretty good radio
Radio has good reception. Without batteries it is pretty light. You won't confuse the sound for expensive stereo speakers but it works well for listening to football games. Not all run off batteries but so far this one is lasting pretty good on 4 D cells.

Analog radio with surprisingly good sound quality, volume and excellent reception. Recommend.
I am pleasantly surprised by the excellent sound quality, volume and "fullness" of the sound, and the reception of this unassuming radio. Yes, some of us still listen to old-fashioned analog radio, whether at the beach or in the garage while working on a project. If the thing gets knocked over, or wet, I'd rather it be an inexpensive analog radio than my iPhone or tablet! I bought this to replace a way-much older portable radio from a major manufacturer that finally died when it got knocked over and fell on a hard surface. The sound quality had degraded on the older radio, but I stuck with it because it still worked well enough and still got decent reception to the stations that I like to listen to. I happen to live in a quiet area where my town is equidistant from two major, big-city radio markets, which are located about 70 or so miles away from my town in either direction. So it's been difficult to find a decent replacement radio because of my central location. Here's why: Newer radios get confused, waffling between the big urban stations broadcasting from one major city and the other one! These newer radios can pick up signals from both of those markets. Yet sometimes, even with that ability, my location ends up being a radio "dead zone" where I cannot get reception on most stations at all, except for one or two local FM stations that are nearby. When the "radio dead zone" kicks in, AM reception is shot; it's all static and buzz. So I've tried several different radios and they all got returned, except for this one. It's a keeper. I wish the manufacturer would make one with the same abilities that's also waterproof. The old radio that broke was actually a shower radio and I miss that. But I highly recommend this radio.

Excellent
Excellent radio. Returned a different make because AM was poor quality. This one is very clear, great sound.

Nice radio!
I just got this radio today, and so far I'm really impressed! Its light weight, but seems pretty solid. Tuning in a station is pretty easy, and there seems to be pretty good separation between nearby stations. It also seems to pick up weaker signals pretty well, especially on the AM band. Sound quality is good, especially for talk radio, with good clarity. However, if you are expecting premium sound for music listening, you might want to consider a stereo " boom box" instead. This radio produces a decent sound for music, but it's a little weak on the bass side. A larger speaker (or 2!) would be a better choice if you really want a better music listening experience. However, the sound is still very clear and pleasant, if a bit thin in the bass. After listening to various programs for about 5 hours or so today, I can honestly say I'm quite happy with my purchase. Time will tell if I'll continue to be satisfied, but aside from some unexpected failure, I think I'll be happy with this radio for a long time!

Good design, decent sound
I bought this "Jazmm" radio for my father who lives in a nursing home. What I like most about it is that it is sensibly designed and easy to operate. Every function has a separate easy to access switch or knob that is easy to use. You don't have to figure it out. I also have a Panasonic radio - the TF-2400D, which is a great radio but the on and off switch which doubles as an FM/AM switch on it is not easy to set requiring precise pressure. The Jazmm is better in this respect. The sound quality and reception is pretty good. The radio has a tone control and I usually keep it on the high setting which seems to be better for voices and news programs. It can get quite loud. It is a nice looking radio as well. You can use it with the power cord or with 4 x D batteries. I think it would be better if it just took 4 x AA batteries like the Panasonic radio. These are easier to find and lighter. On the other hand, the radio is very light so the D batteries do make it a little more stable during operation. Overall, I think it is a pretty good radio especially for someone who needs a simple easy to operate radio that has good reception and good sound.
