IDIOTS!
I'm really getting sick and tired of inaccurate product descriptions on Amazon. This device's range is NOT 12-3/4" to 28". It's 13-1/2" to 28-3/8". Those specs are CRITICAL if you're comparison shopping and cutting wood to make a convertible table/berth and you require your surface levels to all be the same. So don't depend on anything posted by any idiot marketer. Get the product in-hand, and then measure the real deal twice and cut once. Or send it back and demand a return shipping label if it was their fault. I have avoided a huge and costly mistake by postponing my cabinetry work until this product arrived.
