Mrs got to the stage she started sleeping downstairs. We finally decided to have a go ourselves, and after a few hours we finally got the cover off, and there was these 2 batteries, which I tested and both were dead. Ordered these 2 replacement batteries which were the same make and model, and when they came we installed them and the stairlift worked straight away. She now sleeps upstairs in a proper bed again. This supplier came up and had them in stock. I expected brand new as I don’t remember seeing anything in the description saying otherwise. The batteries I received were manufacture dated about 9 months old but both batteries had scuffs on both sides and more on the bottom. These look like take outs. I accepted them as I needed to shut the UPS up (good old APC!). I have no idea how long they will last but hoping for the best.
