Carson Dellosa Inferring Reading Comprehension 5th Grade and 6th Grade Workbook, Passages and Targeted Practice Activities, Classroom or Homeschool Curriculum (Spotlight on Reading) Review: Great for inferring lessons - I really liked this book it starts easy and gradually gets harder. It helps your child really understand what an inference is and how to infer things from the texts and pictures. My kids liked it and didn’t complain while doing it. Review: Great intervention resource! - Excellent intervention resource! I'm using this with my homeschooling teen who has language/reading/social disabilities. This is a perfect way to introduce the concept of finding the implied information, even for a kid who is still in the decoding stage of literacy.

Great for teaching the concept
Great for teaching the concept. I use it to help teach cause and effect reasoning in sessions and then generalize the concept. I also used to be an English teacher and would have liked to have the book when I taught the concept in class.

Great Quality
Great reading passages and question sets for inferencing skills. The illustrations are a little childish for 5-6th grader, but other than that great quality.

Five Stars
This workbook has easy to read stories but yet challenging. Great way to make students use critical thinking.

Too easy
I think the tasks are too easy for 5th graders. The inferencing on the STAAR test is a little more difficult so this only helps with my low students.
