Comes with coin cell batteries which lasted an age. These can be replaced easily enough when needed. Some of the on/off switches were stiff so used a coin to push across rather than hurt my fingers! Good glow in darkness.

These lights do look quite pretty when in a container. They do have a flickering effect and are reasonably bright. The switches on the bottom are a little stiff at the moment and they don't have a timer function unfortunately. However they seem good value for money. Hopefully the batteries will last the Christmas season.

Bargain priced. Have these displayed for Christmas. Figured they'd not last long so purchased 50! I was mistaken. They've been on for 72 hours so far and going strong. Well impressed!

Love the brightness just what I needed

These tea lights come ready to use with batteries included. They give off a warm flickering light.

I have had one of these tea lights going in my kitchen for 7 days now, that is more than 100 hours. That's more like 170 hours. They are white lights (not too realistic) not yellow like a candle but they are bright and flicker. I am using one in my loo for a night light. Yes, they are difficult to turn on. Yes, you might break a nail (which is why this is getting 4 stars) so use something else and common sense.
